Product Description
The Steyr L-A1 striker-fired pistol is a full-sized, semi-automatic, double-action handgun chambered in a choice of 9x19mm Parabellum with a magazine capacity of 17 rounds, or .40 Smith & Wesson with a magazine capacity of 12 rounds, designated as the L9-A1 and L40-A1.

With a barrel length of 4.5” (114mm), the L-A1 is the largest of the Steyr pistol line and offers maximum accuracy for ideal application in duty use, home defense and sport or competitive shooting. A full-length integrated Picatinny rail allows for mounting of nearly any standard light and/or laser and two recoil groves in the rail provides adjustment for whatever accessory is installed on the firearm. The slide of the Steyr L-A1 also features slide-racking grooves at both the rear and front of the slide.

As with each model in the Steyr A1 line of products, the pistol features a low bore-axis which minimizes recoil and improves control. The lower frame of the gun offers a standard slide-lock thumb tab, right-handed magazine ejection button and pivoting break-down lever. A key-operated manual safety feature is located next to the break-down lever and 2 keys are provided with each pistol.

For anyone who hasn’t shot one of these, they are phenomenal, especially for the money. They have the nickname “improved Glocks” for a reason.

I can't get the code to go through. Gives an error "A coupon must be restricted with a vendor product". Like anyone understand what that's supposed to mean.

Is that $429 shipped? because it's showing $20 for shipping at checkout

Anyone making negative remarks about the Steyr line should really give one a try. I have three and would put them up against any other make/model in the class. The only striker-fired pistol I think is better is the PPQ, and I have just about everything.

Fuck out of here with your wimpy ass $50 rebate. Learn how to sell pistols from some real companies like Walther and S&W.

Shove this turd back up your asshole.

Have you shot one before? IMHO it's shoots straight and has been reliable through 700+ rds.

Woah. Pal. Steyr has been around longer than you know. Google it.

I think you might need anger management and a gun history class. Let me know if you need any help with either of those.

I'm thinking of $299 who wants those weird triangular trapezoid sights except if you like playing HALO lol..

Get the rebate off of the Steyr website, the dealers website shows an expired rebate.

I'll hold off until these are $350 AR. Nice try though

Does any one know if this applies to online sales? Or if you have it on lay-a-way online, does thay disqualify? Called them up earlier, the guy wasn't much help at all.

As long as the layaway is started in the valid date range you're good. But make sure you pay it off early enough to get it and submit the rebate before the last day possible. Unless the place you buy it from is okcwith telling you the serial number and you can submit the rebate right away. The rebate applies to any new gun purchase, online or in person from any retail store.
