Description

The Steyr AUG A3 M1 is the Short-Rail version of the iconic Steyr AUG bullpup rifle. The AUG A3 M1 is built around a 5.56mm NATO chamber which safely allows you to shoot all .223 Remington loads. The AUG A3 M1 features an 11 slot Picatinny Optic Rail. The Austrian bullpup also features a gas operated action with a 16" chrome lined bore and chamber. The trigger group is synthetic to keep the weight down except for the springs, steel bearing pins, and hold open catch. The safety mechanism is a lateral push through type and this version lower accepts the AUG type magazines. The Short Rail version of the AUG A3 M1 bullpup has 11 slot positions for those who prefer minimal weight and rail on the rifle. The Short Rail is perfect for use of a forward mounted, reflex sight or longer eye relief optic. The Short Rail ends at the back of the receiver and .435 inches above the stock comb. The overall length is 25.25" and the AUG A3 weighs in at 8.15 lbs with an empty magazine inserted.

Would rather have the AR mag compatible one. I always like these, the TAVOR and the FN2000.

With CC fees and shipping it ended up being ($1,688). Last one I bought years ago was more like $1,620, but I regretted trading that one and been on the hunt ever since. This will be my Christmas present to me.

I have been looking for one with the correct Aug Mags.. Not the silly AR mags. I have a few AUG mags saved for when i got another one of these..
