The picture of the adapter in the second photo is NOT what the adapter for the Mossberg 500 looks like, but since the listing references model #9076 which is indeed the correct light/adapter for the Mossberg 500, you should be good to go. Please note that this light will NOT fit a Mossberg 500 with a breacher barrel, like the Chainsaw model. The flare of the breacher interferes with the light.
