The reviews on Amazon mix the pds-1500 and pds-500. The 1500 has many improvements and paperclip issue has been corrected.
Look at the reviews before purchase. That safe can be open in about 20 seconds with a paperclip. If that
is an issue avoid!
I put this in a pair of my drawers. Kept my gun okay, but dang if it didn't hurt to sit down.
