What dehumidifier are you using? Any thought on a goldenrod?

I will use golden rod after my source quits getting the febreze dehumidifier tubs for free.

Glad I sat down with my Big Red before reading the comments on this gun cabinet. I needed a laugh, thanks guys.
My $0.02 from Walmart. I've purchased 2 of the stack- on gun safes years ago and had them delivered to my home. Boxes were smashed but the 2 10 gun safes were in good condition. My 50cal. Beowulf did get lots of mold spores all over and so did my AK74. Since then I duct tapped the interior holes and I added a dehumidifier and problem solved. For the money it does the job at organizing my rifles and locking them away from my kids.

I picked one of these up last time they were this price. I wouldn't want to store my guns in it, but it makes for excellent ammo storage. Much better than having stacks of ammo cans everywhere.

Great value for what you get. I assembled mine yesterday.

What's it FIRE rated at?

It's sheet metal....NOT fire rated. A security cabinet and fire safe are not the same category.

I purchased one a few months ago and it was delivered dented and the box torn up which I don't even care about. The product itself is fine for what I need at the time being and I will be purchasing another one for my ammo.

Good deal, just ordered one.
I chose store pick-up, hopefully it's in good condition when I get it.

I bought another one of these last time they had this deal. Dark glossy blue with black shelves and divider. Mine arrived in perfect shape with better packing than the last one I ordered. It did again have the keys tucked into the packing material where they would be easy to miss.

Same issues with delivery, product though dented inside shelves a bit works fine and looks good. due to the buy low price it figures that it is a bit awkward to assemble but only take about 15 minutes. Frankly it is a decent buy for the price if you need a cabinet, I got the credit too for it arriving 10 days late...Walmart sells beer so Id say overall its decent deal

I picked mine up at the store and it was fine. I am not sure how they get to 18 guns unless they remove all the shelves and run the supports all the way around. I need to get a battery LED to see in. Remember - it is a steel cabinet and not a safe.

Lmao... you ladies are hilarious...
Who gives a damn about someone's stupidity. I thought this was a section for comments regarding the product it self... good? Not so good? Should other ppl buy it? If its dented send the fucker back

Ordered one online. Box left on my porch was torn up. It was dented up and didn't have a key. Walmart told me I could call the manufacturer for a key and offered 10% (13 dollars) off.
Lol no thanks.
Enjoy shipping this POS back to yourself.

Why did you not refuse a dented item, or at least, demand a store credit? If its scratch-and-dent item, refuse it, or get a discount...

Did you read the part where I said the box was LEFT ON MY PORCH? It is kind of hard to refuse delivery if you aren't home btw.

Did you read the part where jwwill57 posted that a WEEK before you ever posted your original reply? Apparently this anvil has been hit one to many times...

Wal-Mart is cancer. Picked one of these up last week and I'll never step foot inside a Wal-Mart again. Cabinet was dented in numerous places. When you read about the horror stories regarding shipping damage with these they are true. Although mine was functional I wouldn't recommend this unless you get to select a non damaged model in a store that isn't Wal-Mart. Bent shelves when I got home too. Stack on give zero fucks about packaging these. I bet most simply settle on the condition like I did instead of having to deal with returns.

While I agree Walmart is a cancer and is a great representation of the downsides to pure capitalism, however it isn't their fault bulky, hollow items are easily damaged during shipping. They also cannot be blamed for the fact you were too lazy to inspect your purchase prior to taking possession of it. Don't you find it ironic that you spent 5 times longer writing your little rant than it would have taken to peak into the box? I am truly sorry Walmart did not force you to exercise due diligence...

So what was your experience like buying this product? Oh, you didn’t buy it?! Then what the hell are you commenting about? Maybe the man was busy working and the carrier just dropped the merchandise on his front door and left, like they have done many times to me, then came home to find a bunch of bent metal called a “cabinet”.

1) I own a few Stack-On gun cabinets.
2) It is equally my business commenting on BigBaddaBoom's post as you commenting on mine.
3) He clearly stated that his purchase was PICKED UP AT WALMART, not dropped off by a carrier. If you have never tried their "ship to store" program it is great for bulky items (tv's, generators, this item) that gets shipped however you have zero liability if it gets damaged. This guy didn't do his due diligence and now he is butt-hurt about it. The world's smallest violin is too big to represent how much sympathy I have for the fact he has to drive back to the store and return it.

Actually, no, you fucking troll. I did inspect it at the store because they rolled it out half open with shit falling out. It was shipped to their store and the shipping state it was in was atrocious. I should have told them to pound sand but waiting for over a week and then an hour in the store I settled for a damaged product which was more damage that I thought. I didn't take out the shelves which were packaged separately to inspect them in the store thinking it's a flat package which showed no signs of damage. How wrong was I having to bend shelves to fit correctly.

My advice is don't buy these cabinets unless you want damage products. Doesn't matter how it's shipped either. It's a gamble that isn't in your favor. Now go fuck off.

So they "rolled it out half open with shit falling out" in a "shipping state that was atrocious" and you were dumb enough to take it home? You are the "troll" to complain about your own poor life choices then have the balls to lash out at others...

You "should have told them to pound sand" but instead "settled for a damaged product."

"My advice is don't buy" a product that you KNOW IS "DAMAGED" THEN CRY LIKE 5 YEAR OLD....when it is "DAMAGED."

Again, you have spent more time whining about a situation than it would have taken to PREVENT IT.

Bought mine from Walmart. It was perfectly fine. So, I mean you can condemn an entire company because of your experience but it’s not really relevant. But thanks for sharing. Maybe you could just return it and get a new one. Might be too rational for you though
