Love that it's referred to as a 22 gun safe but the picture shows what it is actually capable of storing. Truth in advertising =) ftw.
So this offers no fire protection?-Strictly security? I have one of their total defense safes that is water and fire resistant and I love it but I'm not sure if this is worth all the hassle.
These are the kind of safes that are great for securely storing your guns and accessories to keep honest people from getting to them. If a crook wants your guns bad enough, then yes, they can probably drill through this or get a few guys and carry it away. Also no it won't protect you against any fire or flooding, but for the size and the fact that it's not just thing sheet metal, its' a good price for a basic safe.
safe that weighs 240lbs lol save your money
I'm pretty sure that most "heavy" safes are heavy because they are lined with drywall for fire protection. Unless you go to a really heavy safe in which case it probably costs more than the guns inside.
You should bolt it to the floor anyway to keep it from tipping.
Heavy enough to make it at least a 2 person job to haul it away.
This is no better than the 59" Harbor Freight safe for $250
