It has a two-way locking system with one-inch steel live action bolt that has five locking points to ensure the utmost safety. These live action bolts can be extended and retracted using the rotating steel handle. A drill resistant, hardened steel plate is placed behind the lock for additional security. The electronic lock in this black gun safe has operation lights that light up when the safe is open, when the battery is low, or when there is an incorrect entry. After three incorrect attempts, the safe doesn't open.

I was bummed when it was out of stock a week ago, now it's $45 less, tyvm!
On a more serious note... Is this a good deal for $400 or should I look elsewhere? I'm looking for something that would be a decent deterrent if my home is broken into. I will be bolting it down for additional stability/security.
It's not a great deal, but it's not a bad one either. If you can afford to hold off a while and look at other options (or can afford better options), you may want to take that avenue. I have seen this safe offered at, or around this price more than once within the past 4-6 months or so. On a positive note, I bought this safe (or one real close to it) a few years ago to use for ammo and other items I didn’t want to leave laying around. It would be a good deterrent from an average B&E attempt on your property, particularly if it were bolted down. However, I have a hunch that for a thief that knows what they're doing (i.e. not your run of the mill junkie or hood rat looking for a quick score) this safe isn't going to stop them forever. Last but not least, if you do purchase this safe and the door has play in it when closed (as mine did), I would suggest replacing or adding an additional rubber seal around the inside (can be bought at Lowes, or similar hardware store). Doing so, along with a good container of silica gel or other dehumidifier, should keep your firearms safe from corrosion and rust.

Just got an email they cancelled my order for the16-31 gun double door safe for $96. Gave me a $10 gift card, but I also oredered the 22 gun safe as above for $96, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
And email number 2 no steal of a deal, more gift cards.
Even if it was $25 i would not buy from walmart. Rather spend more at another store.
my order still says processing but no way it ships lol
Walmart says, "We won't sell it to you for $96.60 on Wednesday but you can have it for $399.97 on Thursday."
So did anyone actually recieve the order for the 99 mess up price?
I bought one a week ago for 399 and WM was good enough to refund me the difference. This isn't a safe that will compare to a high-end maker, but it'll keep out the average burglar, which is all I need.
