New Stack-On Convertible 18-Gun Cabinet provides storage for firearms and valuables. This security cabinet can hold 18 rifles or shotguns up to 54" tall or can be converted to hold 9 guns with adjustable shelving. The Stack-On Convertible 18-Gun Cabinet includes a 3-point locking system with locking points at the top/bottom of the cabinet to secure the contents of the cabinet.

Tested by a certified California Department of Justice laboratory, this Stack-On Convertible 18-Gun Cabinet is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container. 3-point locking secures the door in 3 locations - at the top and bottom of the door and a large steel locking plate is secured behind the steel door frame in the center section of the door panel. Unit locks with a double bitted, key coded lock.
This black Stack-On 18-Gun Cabinet is totally convertible. It can hold up to 18 rifles or shot guns or be converted to hold 9 guns with adjustable shelving on either side of the cabinet or all shelving. Even with all of the shelving in place there is still room to store 3 long guns in the front of the cabinet.
Foam padding is included for all shelves and the bottom of the cabinet. Includes Stack-On's patented gun barrel rests and patented standoffs for scoped guns. Standoffs allow scoped guns to stand upright in the safe without taking extra space. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the steel bottom or back of the cabinet, allow for easy attachment to the floor or wall.
The Stack-On Gun Cabinet has a high gloss black powder coat paint finish. The door has a decorative silver silk-screen with chrome colored hardware.
This is a security cabinet; the black Stack-On 18-Gun Cabinet is not fire rated.

Be sure to check for damages BEFORE you leave the store. I purchased three around Christmas 2017 and ALL three looked like they had been thrown or dropped but box appeared normal. All had to be returned and none was worth anything more than its value in scrap.
This is a common problem with these. I had two shipped to me and both were extremely well packed and had no damage. Others have complained of receiving perfectly packed boxed with damaged cabinets in them. So unless the UPS man is taking them out of the box and kicking the crap out of them then repacking it, it is being packed like that at the factory.

Just paid $149.00 with free in store pick up for the Stack-On Products Sentinel 18-Gun Fully Convertible Steel Security Cabinet at Wal-Mart.
While this is definitely not a safe it does securely lock your guns away from children or others that could cause harm to themselves or from theft. I will tell you there's no way in hell you can store 18 rifles in this cabinet. I bought one a day have 7 rifles,two pistols and about 4000 rounds of ammunition and mags in it and it's stuffed full. Just remember these are rated to hold about twice what they really hold. There not bad for the price even though I got mine at walmart for $100 due to it had a small scratch and ding on the back....the only other thing is they are a pain to put together too....lol
I think you could get 18 guns in here for storage (not quick accessibility) if you only had optic-less rifles with no pistol grips, magazines, etc. 10/22s, slim shotguns, and the like. It's kinda like a Ford focus claims to seat 5.....five people who weight 500 pounds combined. Once you introduce a few 'fluffies' you aren't going to have the same capacity.
I use these as ammo cabinets.
