Stock-ons are pretty cheap safes... I can't imagine paying over $100 for one... maybe $200 if it is twice the size of their $100 model... but $300+ is well outside of their quality range.
I agree.. the Harbour freight bunker hill safe is a great product.. I also purchased a few months back and am very happy.. Like jongery mentioned.. a few coupons and was $250.. Check it out.. weighs 60+ lbs more & better quality
I purchased the same cabinet 2 months ago and immediately returned it. Apart from it being destroyed on the inside, the entire safe seemed to light and flimsy. I went with a much heavier Bunker Hill Security 59" Executive Safe from Harbor Freight. Solid and about $50-80 cheaper with some coupons.
I have the sentinel verzion of this...made by stack on for menards.
Black friday special was 225 or 250...bought 2. Couldn't be happier for a fire safe with lifetime warranty.
I'd be hesitant at 300+ though.
