you don't seem to understand the way voters change laws is through voting. when you move out of a jurisdiction with laws you don't like, you can no longer vote there, and so have lost your ability to enact change.
why trash your gun allies just because they live in unfriendly states? they didn't want these laws and didn't vote for them but have to bear the burden anyway. they have to work harder than you for basic rights. give them support, not scorn.
I think you are answering your own questions/statements. When you support a state with your tax $, you give them more power to make more laws. You move to a gun friendly state, like Missouri, you then give your tax money to support laws you agree with. Illinois will NEVER be gun friendly. Just as California will never be gun friendly. That is why some gun/gun accessory manufactures like Magpul moved out of Colorado. Should Magpul just stay in Colorado and let them crap all over them? No. And this is what Springfield Armory should do as well. Why support a state that hates your products? Instead of trying to close down Springfield and $hit on its employees, you people should encourage them to move their facilities to a state that appreciates them. Find out who screwed up in management and replace them with someone responsible. Springfield has a lot of things to get straitened up, I agree. But I am looking at things in the long term. What if S&W had said 'to hell with it, we are closing shop in the Clinton years? You really don't want to lose gun companies to Mexico or other countries or to completely shut them down. Hillary Clinton would love that. Anything Hillary like is a BAD THING! We should be bringing IN jobs to the US, not the other way around.

Do Not buy anything from Springfield Armory or Rock River Arms! These two Illinois companies gave their soul to the devil when they caved in to Illinois politicians and gave their support to a Illinois law that will restrict the gun rights of the citizens of Illinois. These two companies are scum.

I just picked up the 4.5 XDM. Now I'm temped to grave this little guy for daily carry. Replace my Glock 42 used for summer conceal. Give me a little more stopping power this summer.
