I got this deal last month with the three extra mag rebate.
Great gun. Grab a Gun said allow a week or so for shipment but it was shipped the next day. Ordered on Monday and my FFL got it on Thursday.
I was a little suspicious about the one mag comment. I called Springfield and they confirmed, this essentials package only comes with one mag now. They said any retailer selling this package with two mags has older stock.
That was a great deal you got there. Probably should have jumped on it myself. Just shortly after that deal was posted, Springfield announced the release of the updated version. So, perhaps we'll see more clearance sales like that one.
I carry mostly .40 compacts and full size, but at this price + the 3 free mags and carrier there was no way I was gonna pass it up.
I've been looking for an excuse to get me a subcompact since I traded my Glock. I think the wife will understand ;)
What an awesome deal! I have the XD chambered in .40 and was not looking to add another subcompact, but this deal is too good to resist.

The gun is awesome. My family owns 3 XD's. My daughter has this exact gun and she can damn sure hit with it. Won "Gun of the Year" a few years back. A popular review said, "So easy a Cave Man can shoot it".

Damn this deal. I just ordered one when I really shouldn't. I also used my Bank of America MC because they are running a promotion for 5% back in certain categories. Sporting goods stores (MCC 5941) is on their list, and the locator says they are coded as one. So, I should come in around $328 plus FFL fees. This is one heck of a deal.
Oh man, now they have the Service model at the same price.

I'm wondering about the rebate. It requires that I have the serial number. If I don't receive it by the 31st, do you think the submission form on their website will be taken down? There's nothing in the fine print about when it must be submitted by, only purchased by.
I just ordered from grab a gun an XDS and had it delivered.Scheduled for 2 day delivery and only took 1 day!
If you order from grabagun, you will have the gun in a few days waiting at your FFL. Once you go pick it up, you send in the info. The only way this could be an issue is if you order from a shipper who takes weeks to ship the gun. Grabagun is fast, I ordered this 2 days ago and it's already on its way, despite the delay mentioned on the site, they ship fast. They always ship fast, so you'll be fine. Other sites maybe not, but you should be fine here. The firearm must be ordered by end of october, but the rebate form is not due till end of november, so you have plenty of time. hope that helps
I'm wondering the same thing. Its surprising to not see a deadline for rebate submission. I suspect they are not going to accept a very late submission so I assume 10/31 is the date. The vendor is now indicating that shipment could be delayed due to high demand. Not surprising.

how/where/when do you get the rebate? does it come when the pistol is purchased/delivered? any help would be greatly appreciated!
Springfield fulfills the rebate order.They need your firearm serial# and a copy of the receipt in digital form online or mail in .
Just bookmark the website for the magazines. When you get your gun, submit the info. They want things like the address of who the retailer is. I had my magazines in about 2 weeks.

This is a great deal, too bad I just bought one from Palmetto a couple months back. The 3 free mags is a nice kicker. Springfield sends them in a nice little plastic case.
Damn good price! I've been watching these and seen them as low as $375 from CTD but I didn't want to give them my money...lol.
