I own 10 SA pistols and everyone of them have operated flawlessly. The majority of them have been purchased for $350-400 and 3 of them were eligible for the gear up promotion. So for you guys that arent buying them thats your loss.

I second that, and wished that Springfield would make an all metal gun out of a few of their XD models such as the Tactical ones and the Duty Carry.

I ordered from Gunbuyer on a Saturday and mine arrived at my local FFL in Michigan the following Thursday. Shipped out timely for me.

Bought one recently at this price. Great firearm. Highly recommended that you step into the Grip Zone... Or buy some lovely Talon Grips to have an even better grip zone experience.

Really! If you really know the story then comment. Don't troll and act you you know the entire whole story about Springfield and the "no gun state" of IL. There are politics in all of this and trust me, Springfield wants to make money like any other company in America. Why would they jeopardize this if they didn't have a choice. Blame your Senators and Congress.... Not the Gun makers. It looks like you want the no gun owners to win! Think about it before you speak.

Again with this handgun it has appeared every other day for the past few months for the same price. Let’s move on please.

Politics and whiny bitching aside, shouldn't this be like $375?

I've got a sub-compact mod 2 and I have never had it hiccup . Personally I would bet my life on it. That's why I will carry it. Anyone considering this pistol don't listen to any of the " why does it say grip zone " dolts. The grip is positive with sweaty or freezing cold hands. If I could talk the wife into getting this model I wouldn't hesitate.

Yep. Only a complete moron would say that this Springfield pistol was 'junk'. The company may, or may not be questionable. But their product is sound.

How do I buy this ?

You go to the site gunbuyer.com. You purchase it through them. They will need to send it to a gun store or pawn shop in your area who has a federal firearms license (commonly referred to as an “FFL”). When your gun shop receives the gun, Go pick it up. They will do a background check on you. After it clears (5-10 minutes), they will give you the pistol and charge you $15-$35 or so for the service. That's it. The site gunbuyer has a link to go to explaining the process. Gunbuyer is a great site to buy from. This pistol is also a great gun. Will last a lifetime.

Williambadass, great explanation, but the the store will hold the gun for 3 days, unless the buyer has a firearm concealed license, at least that’s how Florida works, other States might be different

In Missouri you just go in and pick your gun up the minute it comes in. It has been that way since the Brady Bill disappeared. But also, in Missouri, you need no CC license to conceal your gun on your person or have it in your car. But you do need a conceal carry license to 'open carry' in some towns/cities. I know, that sounds backwards. But it is Missouri. Backwards is normal here.

No one gives a shit about you and your never-ending list of YouTube links, you pathetic troll. I bought a new Springfield 1911 last month just to give the middle finger to idiots like you. So suck on that, punk.

GFD-We don't give a shit about you either, Junior. The only thing you comment on is Springfield posts and Rock River posts. Everyone else comments on other posts they have an interest in. Maybe you need to find some type of hobby or a girl/boy friend. I doubt you have ever owned a Springfield weapon in your life. So you pitiful boycott means nothing. No one cares. I doubt you even own a gun of ANY brand. Mommy's basement comfortable?

Springfield is a sell out! I have a Springfield 1911 I got years ago and will never own another.

I agree with you 100% and to prove your point of how worthless Springfield guns are, I’ll buy that cheap thing (Springfield 1911) off from you for $1.00 let me know if you want a check or money order

Springfield doesn't give a shit if you ever own another one of their excellent guns, and neither do the rest of us.

I have 2 Springfield guns and really don't have the need for another. But will probably buy one anyway. All the Big Box stores did the same from what I hear. And I still shop there as well. IL is a crooked state. If you are sincere about guns, you wouldn't live there and supply them with huge sums of cash so they can create more anti-gun laws. Here in Alaska, you don't need 'permission' to carry one BECAUSE you already have permission to own one. And you don't need permission to buy ammo like in IL.

It's a good price and I bought one, but don't expect fast shipping. It was in stock and it took them 6 days to ship it.

Forget the trigger pull weight and try to rent one in a range near you so you can experience it first hand, then you’ll know, but I really like all my XD and XDMs.
