Description

The SAINT™ makes Springfield Armory's entry into the AR15 arena featuring a 16-inch Chrome Moly Vanadium barrel treated with Melonite. At Springfield they know the details matter, you’ll even find that hidden areas like under the front sight base are finished with painstaking care and detail. The 1:8-inch twist rate provides the user with complete ammunition flexibility – the SAINT™ will handle heavy 80-grain and ultra-light projectiles with equal aplomb. While receiver fit and barrel construction represent the foundation of accurate performance, the trigger is the final interface between the shooter and rifle. The SAINT™ features micro-polished trigger components treated with Nickel Boron. The result is the feel of a competition trigger with the appropriate mil-spec pull weight for a defensive rifle. The SAINT™ is easy to shoot to its full performance potential.

What were these, $900+ when they first came out Nov '16? Pfffft, overpriced then, overpriced now.

This rifle is a better option than other budget rifles your comparing it to, at 700 its a good buy. Have you seen the quality on colts lately? Show me another quality rifle with this twist rate, gas length and parts in this price range.

Some people are still sore at SA. They call their products garbage and trash and foreign made. The little crybabies are just mad Springfield is doing better than ever with quite a few new products coming out. Wish they would give some info on the XDM 10mm before I end up buying a Glock 20 or the Rock Ultra FS HC 10mm 16rd. I don't want to invest $1500 in the Springfield 1911 TRP as much as I loved shooting one.

Hello there,

What’s the process to buy this AR-15 online?

Just add it to your shopping cart and it ships straight to your front door. At least that's what CNN tells me so it must be true

Funny how this was a good deal, til Springfield bowed to Illinois, a communist state. Now it is a shit weapon. S/W has done wrong before, but still making guns. And ya'll are still buying them. Springfield will be in business long after we are dead. And I am not going to sell my Springfield guns just because they bowed to IL. Just be glad Hillary didn't make it into the White House. And for those who live in IL...or CA and complain about their gun restrictions...just remember, no one is forcing you to live in a communist state. Move to a state like Missouri, who has relaxed gun laws. Do we need gun laws. Of course. Do we need states like IL controlling and monitoring ever bullet you buy, or like CA where you must purchase only weapons approved by them? No.

Whoa! I was surprised to see the comments, so I hit-up the TTAG link provided by Corpsie (thank, brutha) and was just floored.

It looks like RRA might be collateral damage here. While I've never been a fan of RRA, they're taking shrapnel because of Springfield's unilateral actions. The best thing they could do is publicly condemn the actions of the IFMA and clearly state that they're withdrawing all support effective immediately and running like hell to put some distance between them and Springfield/IFMA.

Constitution-haters are patient and never give up. They'll take small victories where ever they can get them, because they know total gun control is a long-distance marathon, not a 100-meter dash. Every win for them is more blood lost by us.

SA sold out to the anti gun politicians to save some pennies. Good luck selling these now.

So let me get this straight Springfield and Rock River Arms, you sold millions of merchandise to your vendors and then came out against the 2nd Amendment and gun rights?

Your lucky I'm not a vender or I would be suing you.

What are all the vendors supposed to do? I hope you take your stuff back and stick it where it belongs.

This was even lower than what CTD did.
