And I will always use a Springfield. Just like my granddad. Stay reliable. Never jam. And even my sub compact will put your game to shame.

Maybe because Illinois really has a gun problem. Not like Chicago is in that state. ..

My buddy and I purchased 4 SA's (xds, xdm, xdm 5.25x2) around the same time and same dealer. He tried to justify that we got them at a time when SA was doing great business (pre-illinois legis.) even tho same CEO was there, and we should just keep them. I said "hey man, a turd is a turd, dont matter. I take a shit everyday and i dont think any of them are special" poop for thought people.

Don't buy, wouldn't buy anything from Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms. Apparently, dealers didn't get the msg.

Why are dealers posting Springfield deals considering the controversy that Springfield started in Illinois supporting anti gun legislation SB-1657. Please boycott Springfield until they can explain their actions. Tombstone Tactical will survive.

And maybe you feel dealers shouldn't be allowed to sell guns from manfacturers some are trying to get a boycott against. Should they just have to eat the cost of what they have in stock?

You sound like the anti-gun governments. Can't transfer, only surrender, existing stock.

Who is going to stand up for you when there is no one left? Let this be a lesson to all gun manufacturers that you are most respected for fighting the good fight, not caving to short term gains or "not opposing" harmful legislation against your point of sale locations or customers. Screw them!

I know we love to eat our own...

But Illinois was going to pass the bill regardless. Since when have they ever not been able to enact more anti-gun laws.

SA and RRA didn't "support" the bill. They dropped their opposition to it to be excluded from the limits in the bill. Is that still "supporting" it? Kind of, but not really.

Finally, the ones that should be opposing this the most are Illinois gun owners. Not a very vocal crowd. SA's and RRA's opposition to the bill wouldn't have meant ANYTHING to the politicians.

The bill hasn't been signed in yet I don't think. Are we going to start seeing some actual Illinois grassroots activism? I doubt it.

Screw them! Better to pass opposed standing tall then to pass "unopposed" hoping no one will parse the difference.
