Octo-Grip™ front strap texturing, a G10 Octo-Grip™ textured mainspring housing and G10 thin-line grips enhance shooting control by providing a sure hold. The G10 trigger shoe by Hogue® lets off with a crisp 5-lb. pull and a short reset. An Ameriglo® Pro-Glo™ green tritium front sight inside a yellow luminescent circle and a tactical rack rear sight with green tritium inside of white luminescent circles get on target instantly. The single-action trigger uses a positive ambidextrous thumb safety. The 911 pistol includes one flush and one extended magazine. The slim, trim Springfield Armory 911 Semi-Auto Pistols are designed for EDC and self-defense at short range. The Springfield Armory 911 Alpha Semi-Auto Pistol's beveled and chamfered steel slide is finished with 416 black Nitride. Cross Cannon polymer grips and vertical line texturing on the front strap and mainspring housing provide additional traction and a secure hold on the pistol. A fiber-optic front sight combines with a white, 2-dot rear sight for quick sight acquisition. The Alpha pistol ships with one 6-round stainless steel magazine.
