this is my 74yro mom's 2nd milspec 1911, for what ever reason she doesn't like beavertail grip safety. I got it for her as 2019 mom's day gift from grabagun for about the same $, not the $663 that's being shown above...

A friend gave me a good deal on it. I have my old one sold for $35K so I am only out about $13K. I have 7 more months of free time before heading back up to Alaska. We do contract work for NAS in Corpus Christi. Keeps us busy. But it is better putting in 10 hour days instead of 15 hour days. I guess you could call this my vacation. If I can keep all these hurricanes away from my beach house, I will be happy. :)
