Springfield Armory’s 911 proved that a pocket pistol could fit in your hand and shoot with the familiarity of the legendary 1911 platform. Now, Springfield Armory introduces another version of the 911, the 911 Alpha in .380 ACP. The Springfield Armory 911 Alpha offers a value-priced variant that focuses on the essentials of the platform, while maintaining the quality and handling characteristics the gun is known for.

An optimized frame-to-slide-to-trigger guard relationship creates a uniquely comfortable, intuitive and accurate shooting experience for a pistol of its size. A crisp, short-reset, 5-pound, polymer trigger ensures a light yet responsive pull for reassuring precision, while the loaded chamber indicator provides a visual and tactile indicator of the guns condition. The extended thumb safety encourages easy manipulation of the safety under life-threatening situations where fine motor skills can be compromised under stress.  A fiber optic front sight and white, two-dot rear sight allows for quick and clear target acquisition.
To keep the gun invisible until needed, the frame measures 5.5 inches long and less than 4 inches high, with a smooth profile that’s undetectable under clothing. The new 911 Alpha is crafted of 7075 T6 anodized hard-coat aluminum, the same material used in combat-ready firearms like Springfield’s renowned Saint AR-15 rifles and pistols. Cross Cannon polymer grips and vertical line texturing on the front strap and mainspring housing provide additional traction and a secure hold on the pistol. The 2.7-inch, 416R stainless barrel gives this small gun amazing accuracy at greater than confrontation distance. A full-length guide rod with flat wire spring enhances control and softens recoil.

This whole "tax" deal is a screw job ! No. 1, the states will never see those taxes. The law defeats the advantage of shopping online. And most stores will give you an out the door price minus taxes. If this law is intended to help brick & mortars, it surely has missed the mark !

If you complain about liberals spewing nonsense about firearms because they're talking about something they know nothing about, you owe it to yourself to not do the same. Saying that PSA or anyone else doesn't remit the sales tax is the equivalent of Nancy Pelosi saying you can buy a gun online and have it shipped to your without a background check. And this goes for any retailer. Collecting but not remitting sales tax would be more serious than not declaring income.

Well then it's serious by your definition.

Are you accusing PSA of tax fraud and not remitting sales tax? If true, by all means show some evidence and I'd be happy to side with you. Also, for better or worse retailes are pretty much obliged to give an "out the door price minus taxes", since taxes depend on the delivery county (due to surtax, which is not known in advance), and sales tax regulation requires it to be listed as a separate line item. It sucks, but not nearly as much as income tax.

Would you like to pay some tax? You can send me some money if that makes you feel better?

Would be a great price...but $40 in theft fees. Hard pass. Shouldn't charge tax in states where they aren't required to. Haven't ordered from them since 2018. More for you fellas I guess.

You can thank the GOP supreme court justices (and a SINGLE democrat) for making you pay tax for internet purchases. Party of "lower taxes" my a$$.....

Uhhh, they don’t charge tax is states they’re not required to. Not sure where you’re getting that info from.

Not required for TX but charge.

How do you know whether they are required to or not? Do you know for a fact they don't have a sales tax nexus in the state? Such as a shipping warehouse, employee or any other of the things that can create sales tax liability. It costs them money to handle sales tax (they pay the CC transaction fee on the sales tax and the accountants to review state sales tax law), so I really doubt they'd collect it if they didn't feel like it would cause them more problems if they didn't.

Don't care. Stopped buying from them and that's that. Too many other options including locally where my tax is aggregated and spent, at least somewhat, in a manner that benefits the community. Problem solved. Not selling any of my PSA shit and stomping around in protest mode, just not spending more money.

Where do you think your taxes are sent when PSA (or anywhere else) collects it? They send it to your state, and your state will distribute the surtax to your community, just as if you were buying locally. Don't get me wrong, buy elsewhere if you can get it cheaper without tax, it's just the not understanding why the tax is collected (sales tax nexus) or assuming that it doesn't go to your area (it does) that gets me. I'd imagine you'd rather know the truth than stay in ignorance. Like it or not, sales tax is likely the most legitimate of taxes (probably behind tariffs). I'd take sales tax over income tax any day.

They are supposed to send it, but get around it or partially pay.

look for a work from home FFL (aka kitchen table ffl)

gunbroker has a good FFL search.

My guy is 12 miles away.. but worth the drive.. does $10 per form.. which is great if I find a deal and buy mutliple's

anything over $20 is unreasonable imo.
