Good post. I don't think many people relize how quickly parts add up. Plus the value of a solid warranty and resell value get overlooked. With that said don't think a $2K Ar pistol is my cup of tea. Although live the trigger and some of components.
Title says "rifle" and description says "pistol"....photo clearly shows a pistol brace. On a 8.1 inch barrel this is a HUGE FREAKING DIFFERENCE. If they said "assault rifle" or "clip" there would be 50 comments right now even if those misnomers would not affect a thing. Guess nomenclature only matters sometimes...
You do get what you pay for. That is how it works. You pay.
Yeah... not really. Maybe a little high, but if you honestly priced this out with all the parts included, it would come to $2000+

Knocking down the finish with steel wool must add $1500 onto what it cost to actually build this rifle.
