Is this a real kimber for around 400 bucks, or is this a scam? Also how good is this firearm in comparison to an M&P 45 first or second generation?

I bought this a couple of months ago. I swapped out the grips with some Hogue rubber grips. It is very manageable and no hangups whatsoever after the first 200 rounds. It's a keeper.

Beutiful and a nice small size. The grip feels good in the hand. Not to snappy, it's not a .40
This is one of the best deals going!

I just picked mine up at the ffl a couple of hours ago. Brought it home, disassembled and cleaned it and it's ready for the range Saturday morning. I am very impressed with the fit & finish of the pistol. It feels real nice in the hand and the 7 round mag gives me a full grip. The g10 grips are very nice as well. If it shoots like I hope it does this will be one of my favorite carry guns.

Carried this in desert tan/black for about 2 months. Thank god I never had to use it. If you have even slightly large hands it feels like a wet bar of soap when you shoot it. Surprised I didnt fling it 5 feet up

Why would you love it then? I want one but I also want to be able to hit where i'm aiming. .

Shoots about 3 inches low right from 25 feet. Not planning on using it on pop cans at that distance.

Great mini 1911 style of gun, but a bit snappy when shooting because of its size, FYI.

Kent. GUN CO. is definitely legit. 4 or 5 online orders from them so far. Fast shipping, quick response and damn good deals, like this one.

I don’t have any experience with Kimber products, but that is a pretty little pocket pistol.

Bought a 1200 dollar 10 mm. Never function reliably from day one. Tried several aftermarket mags as well. Also a spot wore into the slide right behind ejection port. After spending half the price of the gun on ammo for break in I sent it back to Kimber. They adjusted the extractor, put in a new recoil spring and refinished the slide. It was better but still am un acceptable number of FTF. After 100 rnds the spot was right back in the slide. The gun was a 1200 dollar piece of shit. Couldn't give me another Kimber. I will run this rant whenever I can. Avoid like the plague.

There is another company that has this same model number for cheaper, but the slide on it has more of a satin finish.

Anybody know more about this???

I believe KyGun Co has this or a close variation for $469.00 shipped.

Action on this pistol is suuuper slick. Shick shick. Shick shick. Have yet to fire but very impressed with fit n finish. G10 grips that come with are nice as well.

It's funny I sell 3 or 4 and then I just can't help buying 3 or 4 new ones. I got the Shield PC in 45, same price, I had just sold a 1911 carry, and a Glock 30 S, both nice guns but honestly after all these years I learned 1 thing, you just don't carry 38 oz 1911's, all day. I did it 40 yrs. ago, but my back won't take it now. These small guns are really nice for walking around , sitting in the car etc. And at night just keep a 23 round mag in a glock, with a light/laser on it.

you have a weak back if 38oz is bothering you. might be your belly. just saying.

Actually I owned World Gyms, but my back disks are degrading, and a belt with a heavy gun, will cut into the area that tends to bother me. I used to carry a P13 Para,20 yrs ago, but honestly with a loaded mag, it's heavy even with a good back. Very few guys carry a 39-44 oz gun, "unloaded", for very long. Most spec ops guys, Feds, etc carry a 43 or a shield off duty. I see hundreds of them in my clubs, It is great once in a while, but really over the top for everyday. A PC shield in 45 gives you the same amount of 45, 1911, rounds @ half the weight and barrel length. It's the ammo that makes your gun heavy, and Hi-cap metal guns became less popular for that reason. We carried 3 snubbies off duty in the 60's, 70's etc because there were no small 9's. Just carry 2 spare mags in your pocket or a mag holder, even on your ankle, it only takes a second to swap out a mag, and you have 15.
Best little guns are the xds, or shield if you are an accurate shooter, if you can't hit targets while they are moving and shooting back, it doesn't matter what you carry. 50% are going to miss, and with a 9mm, it takes 3-4 shots to drop a big guy charging at you with a weapon.
That's a Fed number. Latest article of "Concealed Carry" has some interesting stats, most ever rounds taken by a bad guy before stopping him, 33 rounds of 9mm, and 2 12 gauge shotgun shells. I almost fell over. It's true if you have last months magazine, they had a few more outrageous stats like that. Let's hope no one here needs to find out.

Probably just age. When I get 60-70 years old, I won't want to carry a full size with an extra mag or two all day either. So much easier to toss my Ruger LCP II in my pocket.

Anyone like this better than sig 938 . ?

They’re both great. I have this one but I’ve played with the sig, basically same gun. There are so many variations of both of these with different finishes and features just get whichever you like best

Comes with one mag. You will love this Micro 9. This has replaced my Sig for EDC. Mine loves 124 grain ammo.

I was really considering the Sig P938 I own 4 Sigs and think they are the best looking trouble free guns. I have over a thousand rounds fired in each without a malfunction. I’m not closed minded though and have considered Kimber but I have heard people either love them or hate them I like the looks but reliability is most important. Thanks.
