The SOLGW M4-EXO2 is a great entry level Complete AR-15 rifle that comes with all the features you want for a reliable, do-it-all carbine built for duty. This model features a 16” barrel machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel and QPQ Nitride finished inside and out. The six groove 1/7 twist rate is optimal for heavy 62 grain 5.56 NATO surplus ammunition. The EXO2 handguard features the pinch-lock barrel nut attachment system which is one of the most durable on the market. It also features 45° M-LOK slots at the front for more light and accessory mounting options. The upper receiver is made from 7075-T6 aluminum Cerra forgings and type III class 2 hardcoat anodized black. The upper receiver comes with the forward assist and dust cover assembled as well as an SOLGW BCG and Mod4 charging handle. The inside of the receiver has a dry film lube applied to decrease friction with the bolt carrier for smooth function.
The lower receiver is decked out with aftermarket furniture like the B5 systems carbine stock and pistol grip for better ergonomics than standard Mil-Spec equipment. It utilizes a heavy buffer system for optimal reliability and low recoil when combined with the mid-length gas system.
