I bought mine a while back from CA and paid 219.99. It’s a great pistol and 1000 rounds later the trigger is fine stock.

Missed the sale $231.99 sale price would’ve gotten it.

You have to use spring20 code during checkout, still good.

Wow. One of, if not the best deal I've ever seen on this site.

$232 for perhaps the near pinnacle of inexpensive, reliable pistols. $50 in trigger work yeilds a real little honey.

Read this article from Apex. https://www.apextactical.com/blog/index.php/random-apex/sdve-sws-hidden-gem/...

Beats the hell out of an obscenely overpriced $299 collapsable buttstock or a $219 threaded G43 barrel.

Thanks for posting.

I would say this is the best $220 gun out there. Other guns might be cheaper. This doesn't have the safety/lawyer junk the SR9e or pt111 has.

At $180 he'd empty his inventory fast. It would be worth having as trade bait at that price. Ever notice how most everything good a guy would want on Craigslist will accept guns in trade?

BEST PRICE I SEEN on 9mm Pistol ? I AM OTHER FFL DEALER AND I AM SURE THIS PRICE EITHER MAKE NO MONEY OR LOSS SOME $$, i think this price make this gun by Far the best 9mm you can buy , i won't compare it with Glock but it is Great Quality 9mm , also my i thing is way better Gun than Ruger 9E ...enjoy this price before they Gone ..BTW i don't know the owners of this Gun shop ...

U R either a liar or a soon to be out of business FFL dealer if this is "BEST PRICE I SEEN on 9mm Pistol." There have been many decent 9's, including this very model, that have recently sold for substantially less (especially including rebates). No way you're a dealer, not for long anyway. You sound like a shill for CA and BS like this lowers my faith/trust in a company.

So is it safe to buy gun on guns deal app

Until they run out of inventory I'd wager

I bought from them in June. There was a bit of a delay between ship notification and actual shipping. I wasn’t able to get through to the seller by phone or email (Despite Mike’s claim of being available.) Then there was a problem with arrival. My FFL finally phoned USPS and he found out the wrong address had gotten keyed in (not by me). It finally came through.

For the price CA manages with some of their specials, it may be worth it. And maybe it was a one time error. And maybe not returning multiple contact attempts, despite a website that claims otherwise was a one time thing too.

I've done business with them twice without issue. Spoke to the guy once on the phone to clarify an issue and he seemed like good guy. He's brought out some good deals. I'd still spend a little more for a Ruger 9E but you didn't ask about that....CA's been solid with me.

After looking at some of the videos and reviews on the Ruger 9E...i think im now a buyer!

Im hesitant...the reviews online arent great. Long waiting periods to recieve weapon.

Ok. Any gun can be fired over 10000 rounds with proper cleaning. Sad thing is most gun advocates don't even know to clean there gun before even firing it. Mass production= packing grease and cnc runoff. Been to two factories. CLEAN YOUR GUN BEFORE FIRST SHOT. promise... I had a 79$ highpoint 40 cal. Never jam and never miss fire . 15000 rounds through it. But I do buy more expensive guns like a 1911 and xd40. Still trust them all

i own one as well and the striker sheered off at around 600rnds, decent gun for the price.

A shear at 600 rounds isn't decent in my book. That's two trips to the range.

Just ordered. $219.99 shipped. Can't really get more bang for your buck. Just as good as a Glock yet less than half the price.

They call it the gang-bangers Glock because it's good for a drive-by or three and you don't lose much when you have to toss it. IMO comparing this to say a G19 is like comparing a Hyundai to a Lexus. But I'm no gun snob, as I've posted you can spend about same money and get an excellent gun in the Ruger 9E. I actually prefer shooting it over my Glocks.

I own - OK gun but wait to catch a Ruger 9E on sale for about the
same price - it's a world of difference you'll feel as soon as you pick it up and rack it. When you shoot the two the Ruger feels much more solid, durable, balanced, just better all around in hand....shoots much better too. The SD9 feels cheap and like it could fall apart anytime in comparison. Check em both out at a local gun shop and shoot em if you belong to a range that'll let you try before you buy. I think you'll quickly agree the Ruger is a far superior gun for about the same money!

I would disagree you spent 30 bucks for Apex Trigger and a spring rod kit this thing should better when I go out I have a Glock 17 and after doing the upgrades after for my Smith & Wesson I will say I'm a little biased towards the 17 for my wife for whatever reason she wanted one get one of these to keep in your car or personal carry otherwise save your money and buy a real man's gun Sig P320

Wow where have you seen the Ruger for $219? I'd jump all over that? Thanks

the ruger 9e is 229 , all over the place, so is it really is a superier gun (even a little) $10 aint squat.

1 vote

I think I made my feelings and reasons clear. Ruger 9E far superior! I've seen it for 229 as well and for +$10 it is by far a superior weapon w/Rugers LIFETIME guarantee. I swore I'd never buy S&W after they supported first ban on "evil" AR's but ownership has changed a couple times and after "teaching them a lesson" for 20+ years I relented and I've given them a fair shake (mostly because with rebates they've practically been giving away Bodyguard, Shield and SD9VE. Shield =VG, Bodyguard = Avg+, SD9VE = Fair but as I've said you can do much better w/Ruger 9E for about same money! The 9E is confidence inspiring. If my life depended on it I'd not feel well relying on the SD9VE. But go check 'em both out at Academy (or preferably support your local guy where you can shoot them both). I think you'll quickly appreciate the difference.

I agree. Great price, not very good firearm. Comparing this to a Glock is way out of line. Not even close

Ruger 9E has a safety too if that's important to you - I feel better with one in the pipe. Great ergonomics w/choice of backstrap and very nice trigger too.
