I ordered 1 it said in stock, then it wasn't in stock after ordering.

If they didn’t have that crazy process of not being able to use any other FFL than the one they chose, these guns would’ve sold out the first day. Like here in Louisville they chose one FFL and they charge almost double what mine does. Old trigger or not they would’ve sold out if it wasn’t so damn frustrating. Every time I had to make a change I had to restart the check out again. It was the most frustrating thing I’ve ever done buying a gun. I called them up and talk to them and they just didn’t even care.

I called & was on hold for about an hour then the lady said " go ahead & re-order that it would go through this time". well that was just BS.

These are the pistols with the old trigger. It's still a good deal, but if you spend $130 to buy the new trigger it's not such a good deal. On the bright side though if you're in a gun fight and the trigger gets stuck and you get killed, I'm sure you can sue Smith & Wesson.

I received the one I ordered a week after to a place that was much more out of the way that I would have liked due to the whole FFL difference thing, and it was the Shield 45 M2.0 with the LG-485G. So this did not have the "Old" trigger, but it still did have the polymer trigger, which is quite inferior to the APEX.

The reason that they were closing these out is because of the trigger problem that they were having. You can see the little protrusion at the bottom of the trigger well and on the new models the little protrusion is moved up on the back of the trigger well because people were complaining that the triggers got stuck on the bottom protrusion. It’s still an M2.0 but it’s a different model now. Look on their website. I didn’t have anything to say about the laser, just the old trigger versus the new trigger that people that have a shield 45 know about ( and people that looked it up to see why they were closing out these pistols so cheap at various stores).

Saw this deal last night and called my (semi) local store this morning. They had two in stock. Asked them to hold one for me for a couple hours and they said no problem. I was glad I did since when I got there, they had sold the other one. I already have one in 9 and one in 45 but this was such a smoking deal, especially with the laser, I couldn't pass it up.

I was going to order but the closest FFL they approved of was over an hour away and cost
$50.00 for the transfer. They won’t ship to an FFL that doesn’t have a storefront they won’t deliver to an FFL that works out of their home.

Picked one up yesterday. Input my order around 10 AM, got a shipping notice around 4:30 PM, same day. I like the speedy service!

I don’t know about speedy service. The gun probably got ordered automatically and the email was generated automatically and they had nothing to do with it. I called up and sat on hold for an hour to add my FFL and they told me that it takes 7 to 10 days and that’s only if they approve your FFL. What’s not to approve? He sends them his license and you’re all done. That’s all I’ve ever done in the past is have my FFL email his license. My email said that it’ll be available for pickup in 10 days. I don’t know how they’re sending their pistols but 10 days is an awful slow mule.

Funny, you just posted this.. I went to order one and couldn't select or find my FFL. and there is NO way to skip it, add one, or add one later. I sent them an email and NOTHING! it's a great gun for the price, I already have the 9mm without the laser.

How does this deal keep getting reposted? I posted it 48 hrs ago, but it’s been brought back to the top of the list each day since. It says now it was posted 13 minutes ago.

FYI - if they don’t have an FFL listed that you want to use, it’s probably not worth the trouble to add one. They are weird about it.

And I paid $329+tax about a month ago and thought I got a deal of a lifetime. This is one smoking deal for a great gun and laser.

Absolutely smoking deal, I just picked up a red laser two weeks ago from Grab A Gun for under 350 and I thought that was a deal!

My order total came to $317.99 here in Michigan with local store pickup. Can't beat this deal, the laser by itself runs $240-$300 most places. Like they give you a free gun with the purchase of a laser
