Will it shoot .223 and 556? Will it take the Magpul PMAG AR15 or R-15/M16 USGI Magazines?
Are those serious questions? It's an M&P 15 5.56. It literally says that in big ass font. So that should answer your first question. As for your second, any standard AR mag work. Every AR has it's quirks and some mags won't feed right, but I have this AR and have never had any problems with Magpul, Amend2, Hexmag, MFT, or D&H aluminum. If your talking about the mag charger, I have one of those too. All mags have worked in it, but I haven't tried aluminun
Excuse My Inexperience with AR's... It IS Serious questions... I haven't bought an AR before and I'm DOING my do diligence Before I spend MY Hard Earned Money on the Type off platform I get, I ALWAYS Ask questions and seek answers from those more knowledgeable then me... I've heard that if it's good for 5.58 it will shoot .223, was I misinformed? I heard the only stupid questions where those that go unanswered, but maybe I could be wrong... My Humble apologies for wasting YOUR time MilitaryVet... P.S. It's a good thing I'm already Pro 2nd Amendment and Shooters Rights, because the why answers the first part, if I wasn't Pro 2A, I would be turned off on guns in general... 5.56 will shoot both, as will .223 Wylde. A .223 barrel is unsafe to shoot 5.56 ammo through it due to higher pressures. P.S. I could give a shit whether you're Pro2A or not. And it's not my goal to recruit people. I did 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan so people have the freedom to have whatever opinion they want.
