Looks like the market has swung back to dealer advantage because of virus insanity and rioting morons in lib. cities. Just a few months ago these were easily available for $500. Now $700 and up? I feel the gouge. But, panic buyers will pay it.

@jakew1: people don't like SG usually because (1) you have to pay for a membership to get the lower prices. And (2) several folks had backorders cancelled during the 2012-2013 scare.

I have been a member since 2013 and have no complaints. Ammo is usually competitive, but sometimes a little higher than elsewhere, but for me the best feature is their 4-pay program. Any order over $150 can be split into 4 monthly payments, but you receive merchandise right away. So every 4 months I pick up $500-600 of ammo and accessories for $125-150 a month.

Their fee has been gradually increasing each year, so it may get too high for me in the future, but good for me at the moment...

thanks for the reply, It seems to me, if you order enough stuff, especially ammo, the prices are worth it. There sales arnt the best, but in general it seems they have lower prices.

what is wrong with Sportsmans Guide?

I have had no problem with them, some prices are a little high, but sales are great. Free shipping and sometimes double member discounts, such as around Christmas. Spreading purchase prices over 4 months without any additional cost, is excellent and dangerous.

If you MUST buy from them I believe they match prices. If you MUST that is...
