If you want one without the safety then Gunbuyer has it listed for $289 free shipping PLUS 2 extra Mags. I've bought a lot of guns from Gunbuyer. Had great service. Usually takes about 3 business days to ship. I bought a couple of them when they had them for $299 w/ 2 extra mags and a $75 rebate. An eternity later I did receive my rebates. I have these things in drawers in several rooms of the house. Plus I keep a G43 on me at all times. If you get past my dogs, you want make it far. LOL
$259 IS A SLAMMING DEAL! This is a great price for this firearm! I got mine last black Friday for $299.99 no tax, out the door and thought I got an amazing deal. I wish I waited for this...even paying a transfer fee this is still cheaper and the best price I've seen! If you've been looking for this firearm you better just buy it now because you WILL NOT find a better price than right here right now. I love mine...but might have to sell it to pay rent :'( ...no friggin job, happy holidays indeed..ugh

Good handgun. Bought one during rebate time, sold it a few months later because it sat untouched after about 200 flawless rounds. Shoot my Gen 4 26, PPS M2, and VP9 Tactical a lot more.
Side note, I carry a Shield in 45 daily.

whatever you do don't purchase it from Sportsman's outdoor Superstore unless you don't mind waiting 5 to 7 business days for them to even process your payment and begin the shipping processand then you have to wait 5 to 10 business days for their standard free shippingwhat a joke!
The Taurus PT-111 G2 is still a better gun.
The Taurus PT-111 that I bought would not hit the side of a barn. Maybe it was a bad gun. Others say theirs was ok. I bought the Shield and it was Smith and Wesson Legend.

Damn good deal! A smith and Wesson shield for the price of a Taurus pt111, with free shipping that's fantastic.
The tax brings my total to $216 after rebate. I've seen this for as low as $204. Tax kills the deal. I'll hold off a little longer.

Not sure about this particular store, but the rebate is $75 for Shields, $50 for Bodyguards, and $25 for the SDVE line.
Nice price with the rebate and free shipping. If this deal had been around when I bought my Taurus PT-111 G2 it would have made the decision much harder. I love my Taurus and it's 12+1 capacity, but the Shield is slimmer, has such a great reputation and so many more accessories available. If I needed another compact 9mm this would be it.
Got one great gun and Combat Armory was very responsive. Will definitely purchase from them again.
