With the introduction of their M2.0 line of polymer framed, striker fired pistols, Smith & Wesson addressed the one big complaint that gun buyers had about the M&P line: the trigger. As we’ve mentioned in previous reviews of both the full-size and compact

No rebate on the shield. You’re paying $291 for that thing.
I don’t know what’s going on with these if anyone purchased one, did you have problems? I bought one but I guess I didn’t buy one because I never got an email about the purchased and checked bank and nothing from palmetto. I emailed palmetto and no replies.
PSA is not reliable when you order from them. I ordered an XDm from them, they charged my account, and after a couple weeks it was still showing as a pending order. I called to see what the holdup was and after a fairly long hold I was told they were out of stock. They said they would substitute an XD Mod 2 but I told them I already had one. I asked if they would substitute for a different brand that had a lower MSRP and they said no. They said they would credit my account back (which took another 3 weeks), and then they stated in my account details that I had cancelled the order. Then they kept sending emails to get me to buy the gun they were out of. They do that all the time if you just look at one of their sales. Got one today for the Shield that is out of stock.
I got an email instantly right after placing my order.
Just came back in stock 12/12. S&H plus tax the total came to $291. Minus rebate getting it for $241 still seems like a killer deal. I shipped to their local store to avoid transfer fee.
I think your confused on the rebate. The current rebate is for revolvers or the 380 pistol.

In & Out of stock all weekend! Gives everyone a more fair chance at snagging one. It appears they release a limited amount & after they sell out of that lot, then they release another lot for sale & so on & so forth... I have seen this "TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK" about 5 times since Friday & today is Sunday afternoon. I APPRECIATE THIS SALES METHOD - VERY SMART & MUCH MORE FAIR TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! GOOD JOB PSA! THANK YOU!
Almost makes me want to buy another one. Two is one and one is none, right?
I knew these would be gone. Clearance at 250? Arguably better than the 2.0 shield. Hell I would have bought another pair at 250.
Glad I got the $199 after rebate deal a few months back. Still a good deal.
Saddest day of my life. Even though I got a couple..... I just fell in love with the shield over this sale. Going to be sad not seeing psa's ad posted on here for the next few days. Even the website has them all out of stock. Kinda wish I had gotten another in a different caliber...... But im a 9 guy. Think it's about time for a range trip.
Waited too long and missed out... ah well. Lesson learned!
Is this deal over? Website has them at $319.99 now.
Reading is hard we know. You have to put shield in where it says discount codes on the checkout page
what did you guys get for a receipt to submit for the rebate? i thought they would at least send a receipt to use for the rebate, does anybody know if there is a post mark date? too old to upload download all that, help
If you log into PSA and look at your order history, you should have a complete receipt for your order. I printed this out and used it for a previous rebate offer on some ammo not long ago. It seems to work just fine. It will have the date, order #, amount of purchase and all you need.
thanks wvg finally found it & got my son to print it off ,thanks for your response , sometimes us old folks need a little guidance!!
Only a few......hundred thousand left in stock, apparently. Selling like hotcakes, AND only $200 if you use coupon code and get rebate...."can't afford NOT to save this much money, right honey....like you and your shoes, clothes, er handbags..." ha ha
Damn, it's 319$ now not 275. Even if I use the 75 rebate it's still >$200
Use the "SHIELD" code in the coupon box and price drops like a rock so your net price after rebate =$200. This is really a no-brainer but I've lost mine at times to so hope this helps you get one before deadline of today. It's a decent little gun.
Dern they musta had a massive warehouse full of these things....or they're stamping them out in triple time????
I ordered mine on Sunday and got mine on Thursday. Hell of a deal.
Got mine yesterday awesome deal !
Get em while you can for this price.
If you use the code SHIELD, the price drops to $274.99 and with the rebate and free shipping, the total cost will be $199.99. Best deal out there! ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT ending 6/30/2017
I agree...best deal on 9mm Shields. I just picked mine up from my FFL today.
I couldn't pass it up at $274.99 shipped. So it takes a week to ship who cares. At $200.00 after the rebate it's a no-brainer.
Ordered on Saturday night and received shipping notice today. No complaints here Have ordered many things from them and have nothing but good things to say about PSA.
What is the guy breaking into your house right now??
No, but when I pay for shipping (not this gun) and it takes 10 business days to ship, I feel like I got a bad deal
It's 200$ whatta bummer it takes a bit hahahahahaha find a better deal, I dare you
Be warned. They are delayed. I bought from them and it took over a week to deliver
Back in stock. In for one and 5 of their mags. Thanks op! All fFor under $300!
Maybe I'm stupid....?
I put "shield" where it says to put the coupon code, then it says the code was applied but it still says $319...
What the hell!?
Never mind... it wouldn't work on my phone, but it did on my laptop.
Thanks anyway
Ah got it, ran through the ads didn't see the coupon
I did the same thing myself at first. Then I realized I was not reading what was right in front of me...lol
If you read what it tells you to do and put the word "shield" in the coupon code it will give it to you for the advertised price. It tells you this right on the picture.
I picked up a few. Got one in 9mm with safety, one in .45 without. Grabbed a .380 bodyguard with laser too. Good deal. Jusy received email from s&w that if u submitted rebate in April it will b processed by July 7 and if u submitted in may it will b processed by July 31st. I could of swore I submitted my first one in march. Forget when it started. I submitted one in April and another one in may. I haven't received anything yet but I'm glad they sent an email out to let us know they r just backed up. I called and verified that they received all of mine and they did. Just FYI if u didn't receive email.
add to cart & scroll down, ordered one yesterday for a spare. wish i'd got the one at gunbuyer but i f###ed around too long
where the hell do you put the code in at?
It's back! Until everyone buys 'em up anyway.
No, they're playing games. S&W doesn't deliver every single day.
Just check in your account when you log in on the site & go to my orders. If nothing shows up you didn’t order it.
