Six years later 2021 and they are still gouging people.

It's really getting ridiculous trying to sell a 40 now a days. Other than a Glock 23, I don't see any demand for 40 caliber, especially in sub-compacts. I saw this , "as many others did about 5 years ago" and it's getting worse, just about every model of every manufacturer is 20-30% less in 40 compared to 9mm.
It really is true even though the 40 has more balls, it still takes 2-4 rounds from any handgun, until you get up to a 44 magnum and above. Fbi stats show no difference between 9mm and 40 in real FBI shootings by trained officers, thus why loose 2-4 rounds? The 9mm averaged 4 hits to drop a 200 lb man intent on killing you, even a shot through the heart still gave him a few seconds to fire, death is not instant unless you hit C7 and separate the brain stem from the body which will work like a light switch., or the cerebral cortex, or lobe. Men have survived being shot in the eye, so if you do ever "have" to use your gun, please don't assume that just because you hit a guy in the chest, that he is done, as he could get up and kill you.
