I did search even though I have never seen an MOE at that price and find it unlikely that they would be. If you can post a link, expired or not, for that price I will more than happily apologize and admit I'm wrong.
Rightwing is correct, the regular version was $299 several times, not the MOE. Cheapest I've ever seen the MOE was at Bud's for $392. You can do all the searching you want but you won't find an MOE for $299.
Thank you Sir! All he has to do is click on the deal info tab to see that this is the best price you will find on the MOE version. The standard version even runs around $500+ at the local big box stores.

The regular non-moe threaded barrel version has been $249. Even buying the moe crap separately, this aint a deal.
This is the Magpul MOE version. Never been $299. The standard 15-22 has been as low as $299. Try a local big box store for this version. They go for $600+ if you can even find one.
Sportsmans Guide didn't even sell firearms at that time.
I have the FDE rifle, and it's awesome, it shoots everything I put in it, I've only had one FTE in the 2000 plus rounds that went through it. All my friends and family love this rifle. Of all the guns I have and bring to the range, this one brings a smile to their faces. I recommend this one to all. The internals are the same to a real AR minus the BGC, charging handle and buffer spring. You can drop in a AR trigger if need be. I can hit t-posts 100 yards away with my sight mark red dot. Magazines are made by magpul and go on sale for 17.99 at times. Nuff said.
In Nov of 2014, I started having FTFs & FTEs in my copy. Called S&W, the rep almost immediately emailed a shipping label. Sent in & 4 weeks later they send it back with absolutely nothing was done to it. They said they fired 20 rounds & couldn't replicate the issues. NOW, that's service!!!!
Won't be touching any S&W for another ten years.
Bought this from them last spring for this price. Fantastic rifle! It was my second 15-22. The 15-22 is the best 22 rifle on the market. Hands down. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
Bought this from these guys about a year or so ago. Price was right around here. I love the gun and haven't had a single problem with it. Impressive considering its a 22 and all. This opened the door for me to get a s&w m&p 15 magpul edition in fde. Love that gun as well.
These guys rock and as stated before no cc fees and free shipping. I bought 5 pmag with my ar from them. Ordered in fde but relieved in black. Emailed them. Within the day I had 5 shipped out to me and was told to keep the other 5 as an apology. My 1st experience like that and have been a fan ever since. Just my experience though.
Pretty good considering. I gave $575 + tax for my moe a day after Sandy Hoax by a local gun gouger I mean dealer. It was the only one I could find at the time and Buds, Sportsman Guide, CTD, and quite a few others were around the $650 mark.... So, this is why I DESPISE these companies and will NEVER do business w/ them again! They can go F themselves! Any note, these are great little plinkers and will wreak havoc on your .22 supply....

I just tried to order one, kept giving me an error?! Not sure what's up?(yes there is money in the account) It shows 3 in stock, but also says " in on Thursday " not sure what that means. I am trying to get the FDE version. Good deal if it is real.

I bought several PMAGs from them. No problems at all. Their service was good and they shipped fast, providing the tracking number ASAP. I'll buy from them again and would buy this M&P Rifle from them if I didn't already have the MOE version. Great price.

Real good deal considering the extras. I gave $432 for the base version and by the time you add the Magpul accessories you're way beyond the $479. Plus Sportmans is a good place to deal with as they don't fool with the credit card fees and ship free.
awesome gun. $479 is a fair deal. got mine a few weeks ago and it blows away any other 22lr "ar"

HUGE $$$ GOUGING - this is almost how much an M&P15 Sport cost a few months ago.
Just as a followup, yes these rifles were $249, one time and one time only. It was at Field & Stream stores and they weren't available for order, it was a one time offering and in-store only and if you didn't live by one of their stores you were out of luck on that deal. So it's not quite accurate to compare a one time, non orderable, in store special offer to what the actual normal and sale prices are.
