Put a new apex sear in this, and have a nice trigger.

I've cashed in on rebates from BushNell and Walter, no problem. Smith and Wesson is giving me fits. Everything was submitted electronically. It's been almost 2 month. I think they may have lost it.

Good luck with the Smith & Wesson rebate! I have waited for over three months now and when I request my rebate they tell me that they have turned it over to a Third party company since they did such a crappy job sending out the rebates. I can assure you that I will never see a penny from them. here is their response and they ask for me to call the third party company and the voice mail has been full for over two weeks now. Dirt bags.

Dear Jim,
The rebate company has informed us last week that their systems were overwhelmed with the forms, but they have started sending out the checks 4 weeks ago and have been sending them daily since.
Use the link below to check the status of the rebate.

or you can call Milano's 866-963-7933 they handle our rebates and will be able to update you.
If you do not see it on the website, then you will want to call the company. They are behind in processing the paperwork onto the website.
Smith&Wesson values its customers and we are happy to have served you today. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.
Regards, Rachel

yes you'll see the rebates. almost NO company handles their own rebates. Milano handles rebates for 80% of mail in rebates out there. S&W just authorizes them to do the work for them. People on the forums are getting checks in daily now. It's just delayed. Does it suck? Yes, but you will get your rebate. My first one is already in, second on was only submitted in June so It's got a ways to go.

Damn. That sucks. That is why I hate rebates. My two Springfield rebates (mags and holster) came in within a month. I find it hard that they take this long just to cut a check. Good luck...

Last week I bought a FNS .40 cal with 3 mags and night sights for $339.00 shipped. I also saw recently a Stoeger Cougar compact which is a Beretta for $299.00. What I'm getting at is there are better quality handguns with more accessories than what S&W gives for less money. S&W should be giving rebates on more of their models or lower the price.

They did. I picked it up from GaG around Xmas for $370 less a $50 rebate.

S&W should do a $100 rebate on these

At this price makes you wonder why anyone pays $300+ shipping for the used ones that only come with one mag and no backstraps

I know, right.

Great price with free shipping. Received quickly and gun is in perfect new condition. Only downside is that the pistol was made in January of 2012 making it over 5 years old.

Pretty sure S&W improved the trigger on M&P's manufactured in February 2013. I wouldn't buy one unless the mfr. date was after that. Not worth saving $30 if you get the old trigger system.

I'm surprised more retailers aren't discounting these with the new ver M.20 out.

Agreed, I think we'll start seeing that soon. I could see $350-$400 being the new normal soon.
