Great little gun but would love to see it around the 225$ mark where it should be

I love this gun. I've fired many rounds through it and no light strikes yet. I would send to S&W to fix if that were the case. I have heard from reputable gunners not to try to replace the trigger as it causes more light striking.

fit and finish great, feels like it's well made. but NOT reliable, light strikes 10 percent of time, tried 5 different brand off ammo. will be sending back to S&W

Got mine from psa for 250 shipped I think. 200$ after rebate. Safety on it is almost impossible. With the trigger pull though u don't need it on. Feels good even in a big hand. Got the m&p shielf in 9mm and .45 with rebate too. They all feel good in hand. Bodyguard .380 is very concealable and def don't need to worry about it going off on accident. I broke trigger finger while back but got used to it. Got it for wife carry anyways. Grabbed Springfield xds 9mm with free gear and I just don't care how it feels in hand for some reason.

I love S&W Shields - I have several. This is NOT a mini Shield. The Trigger Pull weight is RIDICULOUSLY heavy!! On a good day, expect 8” groups at 7 yards. You won’t get any better.
If you want a very good pocket pistol in .380, buy the Ruger LCP Custom – Hands down the Ruger LCP Custom is a much better, more shoot-able, $100 less expensive gun than this POS.
Oh and don’t waste $100 on a Galloway precision trigger kit for this thing hoping to fix it – the guns still sucks – you will just be $100 poorer and still have a POS pistol. Ask me how I know.
This is perhaps the most disappointing gun I have ever purchased.

Fit and finish are outstanding. Light recoil. Beautiful handgun. However, my trigger pull was 12+ pounds!! That was a deal-breaker. If you have a hard time shooting a very stiff trigger, this is NOT the gun for you. I shot over 400 rounds at the range hoping it would loosen up - it didn't. I can drive nails with some of my guns - couldn't with this one no matter what I tried.
"Smith and Wesson --- please fix the trigger!" and I'll be a customer again.

Purchased this very gun from them last week. They shipped it out same day to my FFL. $350 after shipping is the best price I could find.

I like this but I'm going to install a shorter trigger bar and cool trigger due to the loooooong ugly pull.
