I have had this scope for about 5 years now, paid $45 for it when I got it. It has been on my Ruger 10/22 the whole time and has worked great. I zeroed it once when I first put it on, and it has never needed to be re-zeroed. I have even dropped the rifle and no issues. I would not hesitate to recommend this particular scope, especially at this price. I would not get better unless I was competition shooting...

My Simmon's experience. I have literally seen over a dozen of Simmon's brand scopes break. From $20 to over $200 models. Yes, anything can break. But I have seen too large of a percentage go bad. If you put it on a .22 and can't afford anything else, great! Just nothing but bad stories on my end.
