The first pic (gun on top of case) shows a Sports 13 model. While the rest of the pics are of the Nightmare model. Main differences are Sports 13 has a Tru-Glo front sight, Hogue one-piece wrap around rubber grip & comes with both 6 & 7-round clips while Nightmare has Siglite night front sight, two-piece G-10 or blackwood (conflicting because their horrible site list both) grips & 2 x 6-round clips.
Widener's site shows pics of only the Sports 13 model. Also, not sure which other P938 models PSA sold for $500 last year but I know they had the Sports 13 model for that price since a buddy & I both purchased one in late summer.
Too expensive. I got mine from PSA for $499 with free shipping. Just be patient and wait. They have P938 deals very often for the price I mentioned.
The gun itself is quality one. I use to own Taurus PT111 (never again, bad quality), S&W MP9 shiled (not that accurate) and shoot few more in the same size. The gun (P938) is excellent quality, most accurate I could find for that barrel length. I am hitting 8x8 inch targets at 33 feet (10m) no problem. I did push gun further.
Only negative is complicated disassembly (I am spoiled I use to own Glocks and they are superb)
this is the Nightmare model and I doubt you will find this cheaper elsewhere, just my 2 cents
Love mine. The only thing I dont like is that the safety doesn't lock the slide like a traditional 1911.
I've shot about 200 rds through my P938. The gun is a quality piece. Have had no ftf, fte using hallow point, and round nose reloads. It has run flawlessly. If you are looking for a sub compact check out this one.
Why this at $535 over P290RS at $280+ship?
