I was able to pick it up on Amazon at the listed price just now. When looking at items on Amazon, you should do so in stealth mode on your browser because if you go back Amazon may change the price on you (sort of like airlines do). It's automatic and based on computer stuff that's way over my head.

Same ol Amazon. Bait and switch. Price listed is NOT the price available. It's a scam but Amazon is not concerned. I've had this happen to me numerous times on this site yet it is allowed to continue.

You can't. They either raised the price or the seller selling them for $17.58 is OOS.

Anyone can confirm if this is supposed to be waterproof or not?

I've had mine for 3 years now and it still holds zero on my .40 pistol.
At the current price of less than $20 (originally paid $40 in 2013) it's a great deal!

Sightmark lasers of this type are better than most, it will give Lasermax's a run for it's money, in fact it is probably a better product and a longer runtime.

Some of these are absolute pieces of dung, Sightmarks aren't and they don't cost hundreds of dollars. A couple years back I took a Lasermax and used the Sightmarks parts to make the Lasermax a better product and more durable. Some of the parts used in cheap lasers fit right in to the Lasermax housing, almost like they were both built in the same cheap Chinese production line. Normally I would say the Chinese simply copied Lasermax's schematics, problem was, the cheap Chinese parts and housing were better than Lasermax's.... Go figure.

Lasermax products suck as does their company, they lost their way when their sales grew. To bad. They used to make decent stuff. Some might say these lasers are useless. I had a Lasermax laser save a life during a home invasion.

Last time I used a laser was on a .22 air rifle to kill a rat that was vexing me. The air rifles scope was pretty awful, put a Leupold on it, but swapped it out with one of these lasers as a $500 scope on a $100 air rifle is idiotic, the stupid rifle had no iron sights, not eveb a bead , just a picatinny rail welded to the top.

In the end, my neighbors cat got on my roof and caught and ate that rat that thought my gutters would make a nice place to breed.

I don't shoot cats, but Florida has a lot of palm rats, if they think my home is their home, that's why I own a pellet gun, I don't like using poison as I live in a protected oak sanctuary with lots of falcons and wildlife, lead pellets are still harmful if ingested by falcons or other critters, but poison is worse.

A good percentage of the time these rats if shot with a pellet are eaten by the large concentration of owls we have, and when the owls regurgitate the bones and fur, they also expel the pellets.

Prior to living here I had no idea how loud an owl can be.

But I did adopt a feral cat that some asshole shot with a .22 as well as numerous .177 pellets

Found out who shot him and warned him if he did it again, I'll have my vet take them out and return them to him in the same manner he gave them to my cat. He got the message.
