I have one on my AR and I really like it. The glass is excellent for the price. Hellfire reticle is great, and the turrets are about as good as you'll find in capped-style. My only gripe with this scope is that it has bold white lettering on the ocular bell. It clashes a bit with a black rifle and scope. Overall a great scope for the money.

I notice the $259 price is for the non-illuminated reticle (which makes this a not-so-good deal). I bought my Hellfire 4-12x50 recently from Optics Planet for $257.00 shipped, which I thought was an excellent price. Cabela's does have the 3-9 on sale with Hellfire reticle for $179. If you bought some of the gift cards at 20% off and used the recent $20 coupon it could be a heck of a deal.
