Look at gun.deals or Wikiarms and search SP2022 prices, lowest they are is 599 everywhere, this is a deal.
Inflation has been crazy since the pandemic started.
This model looks to have night sights
44 months ago before the pandemic US Dollar was worth more, real inflation has been something like 15% a year while "chained CPI" gives a false lower inflation number by removing very common needs like fuel costs and food (literally).

1. SP 2022 name is because that's the date the French military/gendarmes expected the pistols they first acquired to last until.
Not 20 year old guns.
If an argument is don't buy anything that overall design is as old or older than the SIG Pro also don't buy 1911's, Glock's (came to USA in 1986, barely any real changes to the design), Revolvers, CZ75's, Beretta 92, etc.

(I.e. its a low IQ argument)

COMPLETE BS, SIG PRO 2022 are well known for having one of the best triggers of all SIG Classic series, with mine I can easily do 3 inch groups at 50 yards...It sounds more like Trollrarar can't aim worth a damn.

3. I own a gigantic collection of SIG Classics including P220 9mm EU, P6(german police version of P225), P225, P226 x 2, P228, P229, P239 Tactical, SIG PRO 2022 9mm, SIG P250SC, P290RS, P238---they are all quality guns with excellent triggers (-P290RS it has a long bad trigger)

4.I'm sorry people are butt hurt about 2 magazines that they didn't get but from SIGARMs where does that have anything to do with this link or the seller?

5. I've dealt with Top Gun a number of times including buying pistols in the past, they are a top notch outfit.

I agree with many here that say this price is high, especially for a CA approved model. That said, prices do bounce around on the SP2022 wildly. My 1st SP2022 (duo tone with laser, and holster, 2 mags) new I paid $379 shipped + $20 FFL fee from KY GUN CO. Several years ago. My 2nd is a BSS 2022 with: NS, Threaded barrel for under $450 after FFL pick up fees from Midwest Guns early this year. The deals are out there and tend to pop up around Thanksgiving usually. Good luck on getting good deals on one of the best pistols SIG has ever made IMHO. I own a P226 Extreme w/SRT & NS and honestly the 2022 is just as good of a gun for far less. ;)

My sp2022 had a better trigger than my p226. Great gun that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

I see I’m not the only one that sig bamboozled with the two magazines and a bag promotion. I gave them all the information they required and they keep giving me the run around. Now sig says promo ended!

These guns are so underrated. They are just super reliable and really a bargain for the price.

Bought this gun last year with the two mag and bag promotion for $399.00 no night sights. Gun has over 500 rounds no malfunctions great shooter. Had a problem with the rebate company I called Sig and instead of two fifteen round magazines and a bag they sent me three seventeen round magazines. Myself I would rather have the three seventeen round magazines then the night sites.

One of the cheapest guns I have ever owned. Could not hit the side of a barn with it. My CZ could hit a cola can a 200 ft with no effort.

What part of Cali ? I'm in Cali my FFL charges $15 and the 25 on the background and can do two guns so I usually throw on a cheap $30 Anderson lower

I have the 2022 and it's by far my favorite gun. Never had a single problem with it

I cannot tell the difference between half of Sig's pistols. They all look identical. It appears that they make maybe 3 or 4 pistols and then just change the names on them.

I really want this but if I get it sent to my FFL in CA, I’m looking at a $75 fee plus 11% taxes. That makes this more than $550, and I’d be looking at a nice Polymer80 build for that money. Talk me into or out of this, please.
