  • I think the Sig Romeo 5 is the best red dot on the market for $150 or less. It comes with every feature you could want and is tanky enough to take a beating and continue functioning. 50,000 hour maximum battery life, motac, clear glass, 2 moa dot, and standard mount compatibility with just about every aftermarket red dot mount on the market. I have put this on several different rifles, everything from shorty ARs in 5.56 and 7.62x39 to AR10s and it has held up excellently with no shift in zero even after dropping it twice from shoulder height. Most of the time that I have been running it I have put it on a UTG .500" 13-slot riser and it pairs very well making close range and out to 300 yards fast and intuitive. It has some competition from Vortex and Holosun but I think this one is the best overall dot for the money.

That's a terrible price. Bass pro had these for 99 just a couple days ago. And I've seen them for 119 several other outlets.

Yup, several months ago I found one for $100 shipped. $160 is kinda ridiculous imo.

I agree, PSA has put the Rona tax on everything and sadly people are paying it. I used to shop at PSA daily. Not any more. PSA's deals are no longer deals.

Got mine, received it in 5 days. Only had it to the range once so far but I really like it. The motion activated feature is very nice. Long battery life, similar to my Aimpoint T1 with edge going to the T1. However the T1 costs a lot more.

I live in Arizona, I just ordered 3 different things (separate orders) from PSA within the last few days, back up sights, a complete upper, and this red dot. They are all already shipped and expected to arrive before 09/06 which is next Thursday. I've heard of their shipping times to be slow so was pleasantly surprised when I saw that all my orders have already been shipped.

Best red dot for the money. The auto on/off feature is great and if you shop around the internet you can find it for a lot less than this retailer. $129.00 is full retail price so no...this is not a deal.

I couldn’t be happier with my Romeo 5. Fun, quick, and easy to zero. It also holds zero like nothing I’ve seen before. I think I paid a dollar or two more a couple months ago, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Overall this is a stunningly good red dot for the money.

FYI: These can be had for under $100 on eBay... I bought the last (2) I own for $95 each! The best deal I can find right now is for $112.99, and you also get $12 back in eBay bucks : https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Sig-Sauer-Romeo-5-Red-Dot-Gun-Sight-2-MOA-Dot-Reticle-SOR52001/132600483824?epid=23003306319&hash=item1edf9acff0%3Ag%3A59UAAOSwgHpa41WJ&_sacat=0&_nkw=SOR52001&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.TRS0...

Too much fake stuff on eBay. Amazon is almost as bad but with them returns and refunds are easier and quicker. Better to buy from a reputable company with authentic products.

If you like eBay go for it though. Sometimes deals can be had and used optics can be a steal with full warranties on many brands including Sig.

I stopped buying from eBay when they stopped even trying to enforce any law and order. The chances of getting a fake, a broken item, or nothing at all are much too high. Should you need to get this addressed by eBay you can pretty much forget about it. They no longer have an email or a live online chat for you to use. When searching on their website for an answer to your problem 99% of the time all you will get is some generic garbage which helps nothing. If you happen to magically find the one page on their website which lists their phone number and is purposely almost impossible to find you can call and wait on hold forever and when they finally talk to you they will probably refuse to help. I wouldn't bother writing that phone number down either because it constantly changes forcing you to brave the maze again and try to find it once more. I went through all of this myself and eventually gave up. At least Amazon is willing to quickly and easily resolve any issues you may run into. If you choose to buy from eBay at least know the risks of doing so. Good deals can certainly be found there but you have to choose if it's worth it.
