Compact Concealed Carry Pistol With Full-Sized Capacity & Features
The micro-compact, Sig Sauer P365 strikes the right balance between capacity and concealment. Rated for +P ammunition, this striker-fired 9mm pistol hold a full 10 rounds in its double-stack mag, yet retains a slender, concealment-friendly 1" width. The fully textured polymer grip makes it easy to hang on to your P365 under recoil, while deep serrations on the stainless steel slide provide a positive gripping surface when racking the slide.
With the P365, Sig also proves that packing a small, concealable pistol does not require a compromise in trigger quality. The P365 has a remarkably clean, crisp trigger pull for a small striker-fired pistol. There is no manual safety to complicate the firing sequence; an internal firing pin block allows a round to be carried safely in the chamber for a fast first-shot capability - and an 11-round practical capacity.
- Comes with two 10-rd magazines - a flush-fit carry mag and one with an extended finger rest
- Reinforced molded polymer frame keeps weight & bulk down
- Stainless steel slide has a tough, matte black Nitron finish
- Rated for +P ammunition
The P365 is fitted with Sig’s Xray3 sights with a bright fluorescent green front dot for easy sight alignment in daylight and Tritium inserts for low light use. Further departing from the typical micro-compact carry pistol, the P365 includes an under-frame accessory rail, ready for mounting a compact light or laser.
With the Sig Sauer P365, you get more capacity and more concealability, all in a package that’s easy to carry all day, every day, 365 days a year!

My order was shipped on December 3rd, picked it up from my FFL today. Order date was April 11th. Didn't mind the wait since I only paid $460.00 and was willing to wait it out until they worked out the kinks. Now I have a dim front sight apparently it's now made from Sig and not TruGlow. Won't have time to hit the range until after my Hawaii trip.

After 8 months of waiting, finally got a call my gun is being shipped.

I got one of these in February 2018 and it is now my daily carry gun. I have over 2k rounds through it between range practice and bug matches since I got it, with zero issues. Several folks have gotten one since they had a chance to shoot mine. It's a great gun, and while I don't doubt some of them will have problems, just like Glock, S&W or any other high volume gun maker, Sig has stood behind them. Great trigger, great sights and shoots like a much larger gun. It really is a game changer for the pocket/CC segment. Nothing else really comes close to what you get for the money.

I want this gun but people are telling me to stay away from it “I want to ask you a question, straight out, flat out, and I want you to give me the honest answer. “ Should I get this gun?

I say yes, but have no hard evidence. I've been debating for a while, and after the July firing pin update I'm confident in purchasing and relying on the gun. Now, my question is where to buy it from, because I can't get a straight answer from brownells, but are seeing people on forums waiting 3-4 months on backorder before it is processed.

Kittery Trading Post just got 3 cases of these in stock yesterday at this price. They moved at least 7 of them on to new owners already, so they wont last.

I'm excited for the semi-stack concept with 12 rounds of 9mm in a sub-compact size firearm. Unfortunately for the P365 if the the trigger bar spring doesn't fail the striker will. Save your money and see this Military Arms Channel review, the executive summary starts about 33:00 (to get around the YouTube censors when "an error occurs" open a new tab, go to YouTube and search for 'The almost amazing P365.' Our media elites are so obvious it's funny.)

You are so correct on the "Media Elite" .Did Mac, from military arms channel came back to inform us about the Keltec sub 2000 recall? One which he reviewed and highly praised? A weapon that could possibly explode with barrel issues? Why didn't he come back and made a video"The almost perfect keltec".

I ordered mine from Brownells back in mid April, and it still hasn't shipped.

I'm not complaining, I knew it would take a long time when I placed the order. I'm just pointing out that Brownells is really backed up, so don't expect it any time soon if you order from them.

I've been coming back every couple of weeks to the coments on this board for over 5 months. Not once have a read anyone personally having issues with the P365 from the first person perspective. Its always about what they've heard. I've had my sig for 5 months over 800 rounds through it NO ISSUES. Now why would Sig recall a gun that statistically has run better after their unofficial gen 2 version. I ENCOURAGE greatly that if you PERSONALLY have issues with the p365 share it . However numbers don't lie, the p365 was, is and hopefully will continue to be a success. My hope is that other gunmakers really decide to compete with this gun a create more guns like this.

Having a gun regardless it fires or not makes you completely safe. And any gun can and does misfire or break, I can tell you this based on my 9 years of military service. We all know the history of the M16, 45 and Beretta. Stop praying that your gun fires when that time comes and pray you don't have fire. Fifty years ago people would laugh if they saw what to them seemed like plastic guns of today. None of them would put their lives on them. Physics doesn't lie, most polymer guns were not designed to take the abuse of thousands of rounds. Yet I see people bragging about putting a couple of thousand rounds and the gun working flawlessly. Question is until when? What is the limit? My point is if you got your p365 and it fired the first 300 to 500 rounds great, great it like a Queen and don't abuse it if your going to use it for self defense. Generally most gun will malfunction below 300 rounds. If on the other hand you want something that will hit the target 100% every time, get a baseball bat and only swing when he's down.

I must be missing something... but how does a gun, if it doesn't work or fire when needed, make you completely safe? I am not trying to be combative, I just don't understand that statement.

With all the many quality 9mm in this price range and lower out there why in the hell would anybody pay for a gun not in stock? Oh I should have said pre-order Lol!

Went with Bass Pro Shop because it was available.
Got it 3 months ago.
~ 700 rounds thru it : not a single malfunction.

4 FTEs in 1k rounds, all of them within the first 250
Rounds of 115gr WWB, I switched to 124gr and 147gr both hollow and Range ammo, the gun has been flawless. I've been using LUCAS grease and gun oil, it's worked great, No issues with my P365.

I ordered mine Jan.31st, received it June 27th, my EDC was a Smith Wesson Performance Center Shield, I honestly thought it was the best subcompact period. I saw all the negative stuff about the 365 and decided I wouldn’t trust it until I really tested it. I received it, stripped it and cleaned it. Fit , fitnush and feel were phenomenal. I took it to the range and mixed it with 7 kinds of ammo from 115 grain reloads to 147 grain hollow points, I literally tried to get this thing to jam. It ran flawlessly. With the 12 round mags its actually comfortable to shoot. For the the people tagging on this obviously they don’t own one. Sig hit a home run with this gun.

Don't own one and WON'T own one until Sig GROUPS THEIR POOP.
Another epic multi fail video posted just this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjfiOzQP61Q...

I REALLY wan't to trust and own a P365... perhaps gen 3 or gen 4 they will finally produce a reliable firearm. :/

*search youtube and filter by date for more recent videos.

Hahaha... Hundreds of thousands of P325 sold. I laugh in amazement when a handful of YouTube videos keep someone from buying a gun. Sig has reported that return rates are a fraction of a percent. Keep ripping on a gun that you haven't tried for yourself, I'll enjoy mine. Hahaha

Say's the Sig fan boi who can't even get ANY of his numbers right! lol

They have one at a range nearby that has been loaded with aforementioned issues and includes magazine jams not wanting to push rounds up.

Trigger feels good, capacity to size is good but unfortunately the reliability in many areas needs a major work over.

Hahaha... Giving me grief on a number typo, he makes a grammatical error hahaha... Not a Sig fanboy at all. If anything, one could say I'm a Glock fanboy... I however, do not rely on The Military Arms channel for all of my research on a particular firearm. The return numbers are fractional based on the number of P365's sold, and the gun that I personally own functions flawlessly. All I'm trying to say is a sweet little piece. The negative publicity just makes me laugh.

don't bring that BS reman ammo test in here lol, go try the gun for yourself, mine has worked flawlessly

No mention in video it's reman ammo and even if there was there are lot's of firearms out there that will eat anything you feed it. When your life depends on your little safe queen, you'd better pray it works. WWW is filled with P365 complaints, all it takes is research.

Talked with Sig tech support. They claim to have all issues FIXED? in the new Gen 2.

* Firing pins that were breaking are now simply heat treated differently.
* Drag marks on primers are now considered "normal"
* They say nothing was wrong with trigger springs and broken assemblies as many have reported.

**Sig Warranty only covers shipping fees for 1 year from date of purchase.

Sure, it's small and looks nice, mag is descent but should have been made with rails facing OUT instead of inward to allow mag extensions.
Would you really trust your life to this firearm functioning correctly when you need it most? As of now, I sure wouldn't but do hope Sig groups their poop and fixes things right in Gen 3.

Lube, Band-Aid's, JB Weld, Bailing Wire and Duct Tape now included with each Gen 2 P365

wow, you must be really butt hurt over this gun for some reason, people like it, people buy it, the majority have no problems, go enjoy your life instead of wasting it on bashing an inanimate object :p

0 votes

Your barking up the wrong tree and unsuccessfully trying to speak for the majority. News Flash - the world needs consumer funded R&D crash test dummies whom trust a firearm that's repeatedly shown to have numerous issues. When your new P365 fails when you need it most you may find yourself to be the inanimate object... Personally, I'll wait until they stop having failures before buying.

I funny thing just dawned on me...out of the 339 plus comments on this post, I have not read one comment of anyone having THEM, THEMSELVES issues with a p365 purchased through this website. Always about what they've read, viewed on YouTube or second hand information. Now...correct me if I am wrong, I may have not read all of them. I am not saying I don't believe guns have failures but how else can issues get fix. I have to say mines works great so far, and thanks for the earlier quarks because I feel now is a better gun. I believe this gun is great and will become better.
Carry your gun, enjoy your gun, but don't trust your life in your gun. Trust you life in your good judgement, that will save your life!

I received my p365 a couple of days ago. After calling sig's costumer support for a birth date on my sig, I was told it came to this world on 6/23/2018. I asked also for report on the new changes done on this new weapon. Among the changes we already know(cuts in barrel to address pinning and sigjts) I was told changes were made on the firing pin system. Specifically on the firing pin spring cups. This addresses the issue with dry firing and the impact, there is a change in the sound when you dry fire know compared to the older version of the p365. I can also say when I took it to the range and fired over 200 rounds I had 0 failures. Most important, after reviewing my empty shells the primer drag was reduced drastically. More than 1/3 of the shells had no primer drag. The ones that did, were not as severe as some of the pictures I've seen.

I am a die hard youtuber and although I have to admit I have seen several videos concerning the issues with the sig 365. I also have seen more videos from people shooting over 1000 rounds trough this little gun. I am not saying this to justify myself for buying it, I go in clearly believing its a one of a kind gun and I am willing to take the chances. Even if I end up having to buy after market parts to make more functional.

0 votes

Your really not taking a chance. The P365 is a phenomenal little gun and in it's configuration requires NO after market parts, that includes the new striker. SIG backs up the product with a lifetime warranty just in case. Make sure and get a couple of 12 round mags and a UpLULA.

Mid-Summer 18'. Just thought to myself, "Hm. Wonder what's the latest on the SIG 365?"

Scan a few youtuber chanels, pistol forums and this site formerly known as Slickguns. And this is what I find? Still!? Damn it, SIG.

Can they do anything right outside the beloved 220-series pistols and decent (if over-priced) rifles? Ive had a Kahr 9mm the same size as the 365 (w/ 1/2 the mag capacity unfortunately) for nearly a decade that's been 100% reliable. Reading all these threads others have carried a lot of reliable micro and subcompact-9mm's for years as well. Don't say all micro-9's have those issues, because they don't.

SIG should just quit making everything other than rifles and 220-series pistols until they get this 365 shit cleared away. Quit making SIG shirts, hats and fleshlights, SIG red-dot sights and other paraphernalia. Quit making any other superfluous handgun that's intended usage isn't covered by a 220-series pistol or the P365 until this is resolved. Its just embarrassing. Just fix it or suspend the design for awhile and bring out a version 2.0... Which really may be what's required to reinstall some confidence in the 365 at this point anyway.

their 22x series guns aren't doing THAT much better. there's lots of reports of frames cracking on the 220 and 226 series guns, which is disheartening considering sig 22x series guns were LEGENDARY for being overbuilt tanks

All sorts of problems with this gun still. They stopped production and had to redesign something shortly after they sent out T&E. Still dragging on primes and breaking firing pins. The videos are out there just searchjusjsearch.

You don't see any comments here saying how awesome this gun is because we are all out shooting it. I received mine last month and have had zero problems, but you know how the squeaky wheel works :p Just don't order from brownells, they get like 3 guns in per month, your local gun shop is a better bet if you actually want to receive a gun this year.

You said it right. Use your local gun stores. I've had my 365 for 2 weeks and the gun has flat out performed. You can tell the difference in the gen 1 and 2 when it is dry-fired. A buddy and I tested it. He's got the gen 1 but has had zero issues, as have I. This gun is awesome and I carry it every day. No complaints.
