Description

The P320 Spectre Comp takes the 9mm handgun to new levels with more technology than any polymer pistol ever manufactured. The Custom Works designed compensator reduces muzzle flip by over one third, making it a shooting experience like no other.
The Spectre family of pistols has become the pinnacle of feature-rich performance in the Sig Custom Works polymer lineup. With exclusive laser engraved grip modules, TiN gold barrels and triggers, and custom-designed slides, these exclusive firearms are as functional as they are beautiful. Every Spectre series pistol comes standard with XRay3 day/night sights, flat XSeries triggers, and is optic ready out of the box. Each model also comes standard with two magazines, a Sig Custom Works coin and a certified custom certificate.
Sig Custom Works introduces a new era of compensated pistols with the introduction of the P320 Spectre Comp. Built around the proven TXG tungsten-infused grip module, the latest pistol in the Spectre family uses a redesigned slide with falling serrations and an optic plate cover making it compatible with the Romeo1PRO, Deltapoint PRO, or RMR. The 4.6” TiN gold, threaded barrel is fitted with a single port compensator that significantly reduces muzzle flip and felt recoil. The compensator is attached with two taper screws which allow for simple removal and installation. It also houses the front sight, which maintains stability during shooting for faster front sight recovery and acquisition. The TXG grip has also been improved with Sig’s laser engraving treatment, and each pistol includes two 21rd magazines and a Sig Custom Works coin and a certified custom certificate. The P320 Spectre Comp is the most versatile and best shooting 9mm polymer pistol we have ever designed.

Is the frame polymer?

Not quite. It's the tungsten infused. Basically polymer which is great for flex, infused with tungsten which adds a lot of weight to further mitigate recoil.

I'm sorry if this has been addressed already but I've heard 4 separate answers on this. When they say infused, they mean it's chemical blended together right? It's not just a polymer module with the tungsten rods added to the slots inside the grip module. Wilson Combat makes a kit and it's simply just 3 diff sized tungsten rods that you can install however many u want for different situations. I was under the impression that it's NOT the Wilson Combat method. That the polymer had tungsten actually infused into the material before being molded. Any clarification is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, they add tungsten powder to the original mixture of polymer, glass, etc. prior to molding the frame. Since it's not solid rods, it retains flex. The process has been in use in other markets prior to being brought to the firearm market by Sig. While it should help mitigate recoil considerably, I think mitigation of muzzle flip will be marginal, but every little bit helps. Add more weight to the business end for that purpose. I believe you have it correct....it's infused, def no rods. They make so many variants, I have some sort of Legion very similar that I don't even remember the name, but it's a fantastic pistol. Easy to shoot. Wish it had the comp feature though, mine does not.

I want one of these but I think I'm going to wait for the Blackout model to hit the stores.
