Description
The SIG SAUER P226 is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. The exceptional ergonomics and balance make this full-size pistol easy to handle. Its longer barrel yields better ballistic performance and accuracy. The MK25 Desert RX combines the features used by the Naval Special Warfare Group with the fast target acquisition of the ROMEO1 Reflex Sight. The railed P226 is chambered in 9mm and engraved with an anchor on the left side of the slide. The ROMEO1 Reflex Sight uses TruHold, a lockless system to maintain zero, and the MOTOAC (Motion Activated Illumination) system combined with co-witnessing SIGLITE night sights to ensure the on-target reliability SIG SAUER in known for.

Can someone please tell me the advantage of having a scope on a pistol? I'm seeing this feature on a few guns as i'm looking, but I don't quite understand the benefit as it seems to add size and can break? are these good for every day carry? Thanks in advance.
The bisexual of gun land. Is it a rifle? is it a pistol? I think it's more like a hand grenade; I'd throw it in a lake.
I have been shooting all my life and am reasonably good with most handguns but now - at 80 - I find a red dot on a pistol to be a big help. It is NOT a substitute for iron sights and is NOT a good idea for beginners who should always learn to sight-in with normal pistol sights but once one has mastered all of the fundamentals, red dots on pistols do help increase accuracy (but NOT speed). This is a good deal on a great pistol - the sight itself if bought alone is about $275-$300 while the pistol ranges from $999 - $1199. If you need a red dot, go for it.
