Description

The P226 Elite builds on the exceptional reputation of out-of-the-box accuracy with the addition of a new Short Reset Trigger or SRT. The SRT provides you the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA with a comfortable short reset for faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting. Other key features include an ergonomic beavertail grip which allows you to obtain a confident grip from the holster even under stressful conditions. The beavertail also permits shooters to grip the pistol as high as possible without worrying about slide bite. Most guys don’t know that this Sig were made in USA, the model that made in Germany is no longer available.

Why is the 226 skyrocketing in value lately?

It's no Stainless Elite (Stainless frame + slide), but for 735 it was a great deal, no issues so far.

Wasn't this one posted by the same folks a month ago for $699?

SIG pricing lately has dropped on many models. Last year I got a MK25 for $789. Few months ago I found an Extreme for $699. The Extreme has nearly every feature they offer, G10 grips, SRT trigger, night sights. It was by far the best deal I've ever seen on a SIG. The price on this model may be good or bad but seems a little high.

it was $735 and it was good deal. At $949 not so much. Call them they may give you $100 off

The prices of Sigs have dropped recently. This is a great gun, but better deals on Sigs can be found.

where does the "Elite" version sit in the P226 rank? Like among Legion, Scorpion, TACOP, MK25, and the base P226, where does "Elite" stand? I don't see "Elite" on Sig's website either.

If my searching is correct, the "Elite" is an older generation. That would mean this is old stock of some kind since everyone else out there is "out of stock".

Glockcozy, Ya I hear ya bud, hang in there things seem to be looking up, because of President Trump there are about 178 Federal Judges elected so far, two new Conservative Supreme Court Judges on the bench and more coming, they will stand for the rule of law and for the Constitution and Second Amendment get your vote out good luck.

If you are on budget and couldn't afford a P226 Legion or a P226 Scorpion, Buy this. A whopping $400 less than the Legion or Scorpion. This firearm is best bang for your buck!

Other than the coating and challenge coin, what is the difference between this and the same Legion model?

The Legion has a arguably better trigger, different grips, low profile controls and the X5 undercuts on the frame.

Trigger?

I actually prefer this over the legion because of the coating issues with legions. Even the new cerakote elite is chipping off just by spent brass.

To the ones asking about FFL, Basically it’s like this - If the seller doesn’t have your preferred FFL dealer in their files you would have to supply the seller with the info on the FFL you want it sent to, ie. name- number - address ect. The seller will contact them, the FFL will in turn will send seller all pertinent info. and if everything is legit then your firearm will be sent out to that FFL store.

I agree that the M92 is great to shoot, but this is as well AND it’s dead sexy.

Yes, it gives you an option during checkout. I just had mine sent to a local FFL

Great gun. I bought this same gun two years ago with the rosewood grips for $20 more than this. Buy it. You'll love it.

Just bought one. Every retailer across the United States is out of stock. Looks like a pretty good gun.

Pretty decent deal. If I didn't have a MK25 I may "pull the trigger" on this. Edit: I see now they knocked off another $20 down to $734. Very good deal and tempting me!
