Post is misleading, most will think Romeo5 is included (including myself, at first). It's just available as an accessory.

Just bought myself one probably cheapest one I can find right now.

I bought one at a local shop earlier this year for $30 cheaper. I absolutely love it! Comes fully ambidextrous which is nice. After 1000 rounds I had only 1 ftf early on, with a Monarch steel case. No other issues. I do, however, have minor complaints. They handguard is thick and heavy and not a lot of venting going on. This leads to a different issue. Well, 2 actually. Sig uses a proprietary barrel nut which you cannot buy a tool for. Easy enough to get off and discard, except for the other problem...the proprietary gas block. That won't be so easy to get off. The pins are pressed in so one probably has to be used to get the pin out. I've seen videos where heat and hammers fail. Until I'm able to deal with the gas block, I was able to find a LuthAR 15" handguard that works with the stock nut perfectly. $85. I'm loving the mid-length gas system. Noticable difference over carbine length. And yes, the Tread plates are removable. The just snap into to m-lok slots.

I should at that, in order to run buis with the sig handguard, you must either use Sig's front sight (horrible reviews) or purchase Sig's slim m-lok rail section specifically for this use. Another reason to change the guard. Why Sig tried to make a fully customizable platform non-customizable with proprietary crap is beyond me. But it is still a great rifle.

I have this rifle and the Sig Front sights. I used the Sig handguard and have had 0 issues with sighting in. I saw the negative reviews on Sig's site and spoke to their customer service. Everything works well together. Just need to use the little riser.

You are right that the barrell nut and gas block are proprietary. It's kind of stupid but for me it is peace of mind that everything is Sig and if there is an issue, I can send it in. If I want to have more customization options, then there are other choices. I can see why Sig did this for warranty issues.

Overall a great rifle in my books.

I agree. Great rifle. I absolutely love mine. Hated the DPMS Oracle

After watching the video and reading another description it appears that this description on this page is talking about accessories that don't actually come with the rifle even though it is written like they do. I'd have to call and verify before I bought it.

Yeah, the kygunco website makes no mention of the Romeo5. This is the danger of guns.deals re-using posts (presumably to inflate the ratings), among other issues caused by it. (Like the fact people will thumbs up a deal then that same thumbs up is still on the deal at a later time for a different price)

Misleading.

Not a terrible deal, if you consider the Romeo5 being included. If you're into building your own, you could probably source all these parts from other (non-SIG) reputable manufacturers for comparable cost or slightly less. Really not bad, given "the 'Rona."
