So is the name making the price so high for this AR?
It does have about $150-$200 worth of Magpul accessories. Do you think a plain SIG SAUER is worth $600-$650? You can get a plain Jane AR-15 for $400-$450. So that's about $200 for that name stamped on the side. Quite a bit.
You are comparing it to entry level AR15 and M4s. It is mid range quality with Magpul furniture. It also has an enhanced design for its BCG and a quick detach point built into the side of the lower receiver you can buy for cheap at Botach. Mine has a chrome lined 1:7 barrel that is shooting 1MOA with the XM855 LAP green tip I have(Federal and X-TAC) from bench rest at 50 yards. My stand fire is 4" groups at 50 yards but that is my fault. It is more accurate than me using flip up iron sights. Mine has a A2 front post as well.
This or the combo deal with the romeo 5 optic for $100 more?
