FEATURES
The unique, FOXTROT1X mounts to any Picatinny 1913, SIG SAUER proprietary or Glock rails with no need for adapters or cross-slot modifications. Dual, finger-actuated tact switches support ambidextrous use while functioning in either continuous or momentary mode. The ultra-efficient white LED runs for over 1.5 hours at 450 lumens on a single CR123 battery. The rail-mounted light is ideal for home defense, law enforcement, or military applications and should fit most holsters designed for handgun lights.

Anyone know if these are worth a shit? Can they at least hang with Streamlight and OLight. I doubt they could hang with Surefire.
I guess you get what your pay for. The paddles to turn on and off the lights are extremely tight, which makes it very difficult to turn on the light. The paddles should have been larger. It's a little scary to put on a home defense gun when you need the light to turn on reliably.
Agree - the paddles are tight. They did lighten up a bit on my light after about 20-30 presses. One other thing I noticed, on a Glock 19 (gen 4, if it matters), you cannot mount this light all the way against the trigger guard. The switches are blocked by the trigger guard from fully depressing and the light cannot be turned on. You have to adjust the light forward one notch. Still functional, still a deal for $50. Just an observation.
Does anyone know what the "footprint" these have? Trying to find a light bearing holster and 99% are specific to a particular light model but none have these as an option. To too it off, it's going on a SAR9...
A light bearing holster molded to fit the particular gun with a particular light. I'd guess with this combination you'll either have to settle for a generic nylon holster or find someone that molds kydex ones. There is/was a guy locally where I am that advertised molding them but needed the gun/light to do so. For some reason he never got back to me about doing mine but eventually I found something else that worked. Good luck.

Footprint refers to the size and shape of an item. Most generic, copies, and budget model lights are modeled after a more expensive, popular model or close enough to work. Like these lights are similar to some of the stream light tlr series lights which cost 3 to 5 times the money as this one. I found a holster that will work on most guns withost lights as they are adjustable and universal. I wanted a "duty" type retention holster and found 2 to try. The "Blackhawk omnivore holster" and the "orpaz t40/41 series holsters". Got 1 of each to see which I like best. As far as a light goes, I found a good deal on a stream light tlr-1 HL. Should be a good setup. I'm going to test the combo for actual duty use for my employees. So far the 500+ rounds I've fired have been flawless in the 2 SAR 9 pistols I bought. To me their like a Glock as far as the trigger and sight picture and a HK VP9 in grip, comfort and control. I'm very impressed with them.
Do you own a security company or a military contracting company, just interested I saw where you said testing the the light for active-duty employees.
I own a state certified security and protective services company, I am also a certified armed and unarmed certification instructor. I've been in LE and security industry for 28 years.

I don't mind sharing some info. I've been in the business for a very long time and I have a diverse portfolio and income sources thru my business as well as my training and certification classes, and others. As far as "good money" for employees it varies a lot depending upon experience, what certs someone has and the position. A simple "door guard" unarmed doesn't make much and is usually part time work, but a certified armed officer working a protection job can make up to $50-$$125/hr. It varies a lot. It all depends upon what you want out of it. I'm in Oregon. What do you do?
Nothing at the moment, I am interested in joining the military but not right now not until that asshole in office gets out and the military stops trying to teach pronouns and start teaching real combat skills, The end goal is to become a military contractor, and I do not fancy serving the government in the military, but it seems like it’s the only way to go because to get paid well you need experience, although civilian ex military trainers can teach me better than the special forces, it’s just expensive and you do not get the experience needed, idk, might just become a gunsmith, I got my whole life ahead of me we’ll see where God takes me, thanks for the info and I am in Texas.
If you want a career in any sort of contracting or law enforcement, the military is a good way to go, especially since your young. You get your college paid and all sorts of options. It's nearly impossible to become some sort of contractor without previous military experience. I would just suggest you might look at a more stable, consistent career. That's just my opinion from an old guy who's seen it all my friend. Just choose your path and stick to it. Good luck to you!
