I will say that my Sig 716 shoots MOA suppressed and it's been completely 100% reliable. My only ding would be the weight / quad rail but surprisingly Sig was sued by HK because they accused Sig of stealing their design for the current US DMR which is the HK MR 762 A1 they are surprisingly very similar (I own both).

The mil spec trigger was standard so I put a Geissele SSA-E trigger in the rifle and it's very accurate. Additionally Lancer, makes a lighter rail if you don't like the quad rail (I feel the weight helps to stabilize the harmonics because mine shoots MOA. How can one argue with a an AR 10 that's 100% reliable, shoots MOA suppressed and it's relatively inexpensive compared to the Scar 17 (which I also love for a different reason).

This is a gen 1, with out sights. Sig stopped shipping them with sights. Check out the gen 2, before buying a gen 1.

Not a good rifle to buy without seeing what you are getting. There are multiple revisions of Gen 1 (quad rail) - Sig made a change to the gas block / barrel arrangement (imho) due to accuracy problems. Early ones came with Magpul furniture and now they all seem to be Sig furniture... wasn't aware of the iron sights being deleted but if that's true there's another $100.

I made the mistake of buying two of them, and one of them won't stay on a paper plate at 100 yards while the other is right at MOA. Sig says it's fine - no accuracy guarantee on Patrols. Also very heavy. Just my .02 but in today's market $1600 is better spent towards a Gen 2 lighter AR-10 platform which is finally becoming more standardized... or a Gen 2 716 which is lighter and (presumably) has the accuracy issues sorted out.
