If it's a Sig for this price; you know it's crap. They usually try to charge an extra 50% over their competitors equivalent model "so you know it's good". Can't say I trust a company that pays their CNC guys $15 an hour and will hire off of failed drug tests.

From my understanding, these are real aluminum P229 frames with a 22 conversion kit on top. They can be converted to a centerfire pistol caliber by purchasing a Caliber X-Change kit and simply swapping out the slide. The only problem is that the X-Change kits have been hard to find for a good price lately.

Anyone have any experience with these? I am one of the suckers who bought a Sig Mosquito. Is the 229 .22 version just trying to redress an inferior pistol?
