If the carrier was side plate/ abdominal plate adaptable this would be awesome I think.

Can side plate pouches be added to this vest? If so do you carry them?

I emailed LAPG support and asked since it was past the stated 8-10 week delay. Within a day of the email, they had gotten in touch with the manufacturer and I got a tracking number shortly thereafter. It just arrived in good condition so I'm happy. They are shipping. If it's past 10 weeks just send and email or call them and it seems like they might help you out.

An update. Ordered July 13, 2020. Yesterday I Called Shellback CS. They told me they are processing July orders now. Later that day I got FedEx tracking number. Arriving Friday 09/25/2020.

As cool as this is what kind of chemicals does this product have on the warning sign. Maybe I shouldn’t put this on the comments but this is a pretty good deal. For level 4.

Those are warnings for California. I've seen lot's of equipment shipped with that California warning on it because of materials used in manufacturing. This seems like s cool setup. YouTube is a goldmine for testing and demo videos of this gear.

Bought in late June just arrived today August 28

Bought July 1st, said in stock, didn't mention a delay. Checked in early August to see what the hold up was and was told there was a 4-6 week delay. Now it's 10+ weeks. I'm going to wait to see what they say in September and will probably cancel if they move the goal posts again.

Ordered mine over 7 weeks ago; checked with customer service 3 weeks ago and was told it would be 4-6 weeks from order date; checked in last week and was told it would be 10+ weeks now...they have my money and keep changing the finish line...feels a lot like the Democrat politicians with COVID restrictions

Purchased on july 8th, still waiting for it to be drop shipped. Customer service was helpful getting some billing address issues taking care of. If you buy, expect to wait

4-6 weeks for delivery. All sales final. So you can't cancel an order you'll wait a month for

I am a long time customer of LAPG. Many orders placed over years for various gear. Always 100% satisfied. Younger customers seeking 2 days delivery should go kiss amazon ass. Also please do your research before placing order. Not affiliated with lapg in any way. Just a happy customer

LaPolice gear is an awful company. They still owe me $13 for an unshipped item that eventually went out of stock. There were so many issues trying to get the product, trying to get the refund and trying to get them to answer the phone. They eventually gave me my credit and I purchased a few items from there on the credit. They couldn't figure out how to add it onto my account. So anytime I want to purchase anything I had to call LA police gear directly and reference the email to receive my credit. I then had different problems with the items they ships which I purchased through my credit. I gave away $13 to never deal with them again.

I had never had to leave a negative review on here. Created this account just for this company.
Trash company. I have now placed 4 orders for body armor on sale. They have cancelled every order
Saying my card company declined the purchase. I have contacted my cards and they confirmed they
Are approving the purchases. It is LA policies gear cancelling and claiming it is my credit card company.

You can't call them I have emailed them through email and Facebook. Not one response back.
God only knows what you are suppose to do if they do end up charging you and screwing things up. They won't call or email you back.

Making sure all my LEOs know about this company. Absolute garbage.
I ended up picking up items that would go onto these vest and now stuck with this garbage until I find another deal.
What a total joke. This has been going in now for over two weeks going on three now.

This is what reviews are for. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I bought soft armor and armor plates from SafeLifeDefense back in November. Love them! Great company and great products. I want just a plate carrier and was looking at LA Police Gear as a possible choice. I know to avoid them, now.

I had to call their local store in California even though they don't handle online sales the guy there was nice enough to forward my info to corporate. I did get an email back a few minutes ago now saying basically too bad so sad.
My discover and Amex card companies have confirmed it this company reversing the charges not them.
They have my number and won't even reach out to me to try to get this order filled. Basically said tough luck.

Safe light defense has some great armor if I was just doing one set I would buy from them. I am trying to place an order for three sets and this was a good option with their sale.

Oh well my first review ever on gun deals. Hopefully will be my last negative anyway.

4-6 weeks for delivery. LAPG says no tracking info will be provided. I guess your rifle armor will just sit on the front porch some random day in the future until you get home from work...unless the porch pirates find it first.

No molle cumberband to attach sideplates to for that price? Meh, a decent deal not a great deal.

The plates are made for stopping bullets in a gun fight. Are you legit retard, or did I miss a shit joke somewhere??? These keep your heart from look like swiss cheese. Law suits are useless if you aredead

Either plates are already on shooters minds, or they're not. I'd be like trying to sue because of some derperator branded nonsense. Still waiting for these deranged mall ninjas trying to mow people down with a roni, only to get dropped by a senior with a sub compact.

Unless that is you're talking about sailors getting pissed...

They might want to rethink the "active shooter kit" branding!
