hmm......you pay $2 for something shipped from China and you expected the quality of Midwest Industries or ??? Come on guys....be real. It happens mine arrived yesterday. Ordered 10/7, arrived 11/7. Two other items I ordered the same day through Alibaba arrived a week earlier.

This listing should be removed by the admin. I ordered on Amazon and one year later I never received, even after multiple emails.

These finally showed up today; I had requested a refund through Amazon long ago. I'm happy I did, because even at $2.19 shipped these are absolute junk. Beyond the tool marks - the things look like they were milled with nothing more than a sharp rock - they are hilariously canted when mounted and will barely stay on the rail without popping off due to misalignment of the mounting pieces.

Example of the "quality" you'll be waiting two months for:

My son buys plants from China all the time and they marked the box with stuffed animal and he gets them rather quickly. I have never bought anything from China that I ever actually received it. I've always had to get a refund. I think the Hong Kong mail service needs a little work.

Don’t buy! I did in June and it never arrived. The seller wouldn’t respond to emails and Amazon gave me a refund. Looking at the reviews, that is their MO.

This order actually charges shipping, three of them was $18 shipping. You have to buy from them next guy down on the list because his shipping really is free. Of course it's coming from China so like the guy below me says you may never get it!

All the cheap ones shipped from China, hence the long delivery time. Pass.

6 Shops show free shipping, But its a lie, after you add to cart its $6 and up for shipping each. Scam!

I bought one these a couple months ago and it was free shipping. If you keep your eye out Im sure that will come back around. It did take about a month to get though. They are pretty well made and I havent had any problems with it coming loose etc.

If you click on some of the "used" options, you can find a vendor that ships this for free (like RuiLI's) to avoid the $9 shipping. It says it takes almost a month to arrive, but for a cheap add-on I figured I'd try it.

Its actually 9.95 for shipping and it arrives in 20 days ? No thanks is right.

After 2.5 months I finally got a refund, don't remember the seller but a lot of these guys are scammers who never send anything...same with the $2 flashlight deals which I'm 2 for 3 on receiving.

Got mine. I really like the product but my bolt was stripped. Was planning on mounting it to my shotgun.

It costs $2.67, not $267.00. Keep that in mind and it is a great for a mount that costs $2.67. I've used these on shot guns and rifles for 3Gun night matches, works great.

I just got my 4th one. First 3 were okay but this one should have been remelted. Machined wrong, rough edges, holes off center. Contacted the seller, he offered $1 refund. I asked for a replacement. Lets see where this goes. Different sellers selling the same item on amazon. Some a legit, others scammers. Since our tax money pays the shipping I an holding out for a replacement or refund to slow down the bad ones.

A lot of people seem to like this mount. I want to provide a different view.

The construction of the mount is fine, albeit you need to loctite the screw. The problem with it is that it offsets the light too far "out" from the rail for easy usage. Other VTAC-like offset mounts don't suffer from this problem, and position the light much closer in.

I guess this mount is better than nothing, but IMHO, this design is not very good and there are other options in the same next-to-nothing price range that will perform better.

I second this comment. this is a poor solution for mounting a light.

agreed
mine held up very well on 6.8 during a summer of hard abuse but I didn't like it for my primary light when I was out on kill permit, along with being to far out POA/POI it also seemed to catch stuff (weeds, branches, corn stalks ect) between light and handguard, most likely for the same reason. this mount didn't seem to have problem of catching stuff with a smaller back-up light on off side tho...
just something to keep in mind

I bought one to put on my Tippmann M4 for use at an American Milsim Airsoft event. It held a sure fire light. Had to tighten it hard every few hours. The event was only 2 days and the steel pieces had heavily rusted from the rain

I got three of these and they are all excellent. I'm not going to complain about a few concentric machine marks visible underneath the matte black finish when my concern is function, not beauty. In fact, since I'm not doing any dynamic entry work these days and don't have any patrol shifts in my future, I'm pleased as can be with my offset mounts. I put one on an M4 I built using Magpul furniture, with picatinny rails from Cabelas and Amazon, which were 75% less expensive than Cabelas by the way, and below that I attached a $10 grip with a push button actuated, spring operated bipod in it that's been floating from drawer to drawer in my basement forever and together they work great. Okay to make it even more comical I used a coupon at Harbor Freight and grabbed a free compact LED flashlight to insert in the mount. It works great, doesn't throw light too far (I know I'm not doing SWAT stuff anymore, but officer safety concerns become habit) and spreads just wide enough indoors to light a hallway from side to side. I spent a total of $296 building my most recent AR15/M4 and once I throw a sling on it'll be a little over $315 American for a brand new rifle.

I have this one and I can't find anything to complain about. It's a small chunk of aluminum, there's not much to mess up.

A common 1 inch flashlight with the button on the butt end, set up on the right side, is perfectly lined up for my index finger. My light and gun line up at exactly the right distance not to be in the way but not to be a long stretch; it's convenient to turn on and off while practicing good trigger discipline.

Buy one and try it, you can basically purchase this and a light from Amazon for about 6$ total. I have one mounted on the left side of my rail, my left thumb rides near the light button and it's perfect.

Now it's low quality, experiment then pay 200 for a legit light when ready.

Blue lock tires one of these to an AR and when I tried to take it off and it deatached on the side opposite the knob. Knob would spin but not loosen. Long story short had to hacksaw it off. For the price though, kinda looked cool. The $2 flashlight on Alibaba (the one that's on here for $3 all the time) fits perfectly. $4-5 bucks for an ok light and ok mount is kinda nice. Defiantly not high end but what would you expect for the price?

I got mine today, about 7 weeks. A cheap piece of chinese crap but I wanted to see how cheap for $2. Pretty cheesy but it looks okay sitting on the gun. Lets see how it holds up.

I've bought about 5 of these. Whenever I see a friend needing one, I give them one and they think I hung the moon cause I don't tell them it was $5. Good quality for any money, but super quality for this price!

I have one of these on my AR. It works and holds a 1" diameter light. It does come lose and falls off after about every 25 rounds. I don't want to use lock-tite because I want to be able to take it off easily when I choose.

It has a hole in the knob. Stick a punch or an allen wrench in the hole and use it to put more torque on it. I promise it will stay on.

Try purple threadlocker for things like this: Loctite 222.
It's less strength than blue.
