Watched on BigDaddyHoffman1911 where the guy said hammer forged barrel AND frame? Can anyone confirm or refute that?

They have a new gunsmith who seems to be on the ball when I talked to him on the phone. Try again.

I bought the all stainless commander sized version. Multiple failure to feeds. Upgrade to a full length guide rod and stiffer spring, problems gone. These 5 inchers are probably ok though, reviews are good. I really like mine in spite of having to make a couple of upgrades. For the price they are hard to beat.

$326 average 9/29/19. About $350 2/26/20 KYG, huge spike late July , followed by a small drop (graph above). Fear + demand = $$$$

Mine has a mushier trigger than my other 1911s (including a comparable budget Rock Island). But it's pretty accurate...shoots POA at 10-12 yds, even with the tiny sights. Was worried that it'd give me hammer bite when I grip it normally, but thankfully it doesn't. Although I do have thin hands, FWIW.

I purchased one from classic firearms. They are actually pretty decent for the price.

I am very pleased with mine. I happen to like the gray finish. The grips could be better, but overall the pistol is better quality than some American made 1911's I own, and WAY cheaper. I know some will dislike this statement, but the Turkish make some good stuff. Buy one.

Found one at a lgs went ahead and forked out a little more than this price for mine but I'm not disappointed, even as a previous USAF veteran I have no probs with the Turkish made pistols either that type stuff is rediculus !! Go ahead let me have it!!!!

Pretty good review of this 1911. The comments from individuals who own this 1911 on the video seem to agree.
