Description

The Schrade Viper Series Out the Front knives are rugged and ready to perform at a moment’s notice.

The Out The Front knife is not an automatic, but rather an assisted opening knife being deployed using a thumb slider which manually starts the blade movement until the spring assisted mechanism takes over. Manual retraction of the blade is made easy by a blade release button and slider.

The blades are made of high quality AUS-8 High Carbon Stainless Steel, providing unquestioned performance and longevity. The sturdy Aluminum handle with black finish fits in the hand nicely and is built to last. A glass breaker and tip down pocket clip can also be found on the handle and help to maximize the tool’s functionality. A sliding safety protects against any possibility of accidental deployment.

Any insight to this vs. the ones at the gun show for triple the price?

Garbage. Mine broke after a couple weeks of light use. I opened it up and re-attached the spring three times since. Finally threw it away. Seems the spring is an inferior steel.
