Barrel: machined from bar stock with 7 lands and grooves having a 16‐1 right hand twist.
Receiver: 7075‐T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy, machined from bar stock.
Grip/Frame: Made from Zytel polymer, with ergonomic finger grooves and an integral "RE-COIL CUSHION" on the back‐strap.
Recoil Spring System: all steel, fully encapsulated for ease of disassembly and reassembly.
Slide Lock/Release: steel with a Zytel over molded polymer extension for ease of operation.
3 dot sight system: steel rear sight, adjustable for windage only with locking screw.
Hammer firing system: double action only, internal hammer with inertial firing pin to prevent accidental discharge if dropped.
Manual Guarded Safety: Newly designed with a guard molded into the frame.
Double action trigger: specifically designed for shooter comfort and accuracy by designing the system to have a smooth effortless, consistent 9 pound trigger pull.
Magazine: included with (2) double stack, 10 round capacity magazines with finger extension base installed and 2 flat magazine bases included.
Trigger Guard Lock: custom designed to properly fit and be child resistant. Includes 2 keys.

That's a bummer to hear. These guns generally get good reviews. I have considered one myself a few times.
USA made. I purchased one to keep locked in my car because of the low price. Same warranty lifetime or stolen (with Police report) warranty that was explained to me. I purchased the no manual safety because the safety sticks out too far for comfortable carry.
I have only fired less than 100 rds but so far - no failures, fit is good, sights are great, 10 rd capacity, comes with two mags, very loooong single action only pull, longer than a Glock, (I guess that is good with no safety).
I am happy and confident with it and I paid $270.
correction ---...double action only.....
CPX1 = manual safety. CPX2 = no manual safety. In my opinion, these are pretty good CC guns as they strike an excellent balance between size, weight and capacity. As well they are at a great price point with a NO QUESTIONS ASKED LIFETIME WARRANTY that travels with the gun. Gun stolen or lost? Word is, just make a warranty claim including a police report.......new gun.
Bought one at a gun store in Conroe Tx for 150$ (used) never worked correctly ..gave it to my friend he sent it in for repair SCCY replaced the whole gun ..he still has had very little success with the gun..I would buy a KelTec PF9 for the price..
